Deep Well Misfuntion

Upon building new deep well the red "!" shown above them. It stated no settler was available to work it. But deep well need no settlers! Every time the software is upgraded it causes lots of bugs. Do these guys know what they are doing? Do they want people to continue to pay to play?
This is one player that will be leaving if the software guys cant fix the bugs, that fixing the bugs, create. Let try to do a better job please!

Before you make accusations about bugs, try understanding the game first. Deep wells require a settler. They don't require a building license.

Think about it: Is the water supposed to jump out of the well into your storehouse by itself? Of course not. Someone has to go get it. That someone would be your settler.

Yeah all wells require settlers.

let me clarify my statement that was so rudely back lashed by a rude person who only posts for his personal gain. wells do need a settler. However every well does not need a settler. 1 settler can work limitless wells. My statement was meant to state that the red "!" had never appeared on the wells before the maintenance was done earlier this week. We all have seen many malfunctions as a result of maintenance each and every time the software crew perform them. I have played internet games for many years and never seen one as poor as this one with bugs and problems after maintenance. Good game poorly executed maintenance program and short sighted techs.

This is extremely primitive software we are all using in this game and they cant even get simple maintenance right!

The process of transferring water from a well to your storehouse inventory is accomplished by having a settler assigned to a well. So in that sense, wells need a settler, and every well needs a settler.

It's true they don't all need them at the same time. If you have 2 available settlers and sufficient space, you can build 50 wells. However, only 2 of those wells will be worked by a settler, so 48 wells will have an exclamation mark indicating the absence of an assigned settler. This was the behavior before the maintenance and after.

not true! settlers work wells at random. they do not empty 1 well before drawing from another. Their work is random

more like your random.. Other people are telling you how it is i don't know why you keep asking the same question. Every well uses a worker.

I have read internet posters for many years and never seen one as poor as this one with bugs and problems after maintenance.
