Attacked while Transfering

Hey, sorry if this has been dealt with countless times, but I was unable to find the answer anywhere.

I'm starting up an adventure, and my only concern is this:
will transferring my general through an enemy red zone initiate combat?

This is particularly for the Dark Priests adventure, where I plan to move my general up to the middle blue zone for a quick kill to the camp leader, but don't want to aggro all the camps along the way.

No, you don't get attacked during transfers. Only during movement while attacking if you wander through an enemy camp's aggro zone, (the highlighted red area when you click a bandit camp).
