Then there woudn't be any water left.
What if you had to build towers and fortifications to defend your settlement from enemy assaults?

Then the game would be more complicated and less people would play.
What if you could conquer more sectors then just the 9?

Then you would have to be able to count higher than 9.
What if The sea around your island rose and flooded most everything?

then ther would be no need for wells

what if the world was flat

then we could have realllllly long bowling alleys
