The 99% would need to rally and arm themselves to overthrow. Hitler's society is an ideal. Humans are not ideal and therefore it would never work.

The the world would be much better as the politicians wouldn't have the time to meddle in the population's affairs because they'd be too buy staring at the little settlers walking back and forth however wars with other countries would be settled in game (when pvp comes out) and trade agreements could be made or broken on the basis that some guy was offering scam trades to tie up the GC of other leaders.

What's worse is the Defense budgets would be spend on buying the gems for a half dozen veteran Generals (which is still way cheaper than the defence budget just now) and such actions would allow the poorer third worlds to become world powers since they dont have to train real armies or the like.

On the other hand the real world would fade to grey for them as they become more and more out of touch with reality, thinking that the population of the real world is sorted out like the game one with wars and no needing payed, where you can build houses only if you have enough permits and no-one would revolt...
