I'm all for making money, but 2,990 gems for a slot. Wow. Talk about making a new "feature" go away quickly. I'm not sure I follow the logic on the pricing structure, but maybe it will work out for you.

I agree 2 new general or a que slot duh. And at the gem prices it is about 15$ in american for a slot....haha
oooh, this is a new feature. but what does it mean "Temporary Building Queue Slot" mean?? (Which only cost 60 Gems). is there a permanent ones?

dang.... i think this feature is waaaayyy overpriced... i won't spend that much money on just a Building queue.. you know how many thing you can buy with 2900 gems and what you get in return is worth a lot more than those building queue :(
Hate to break it to you guys, just as the overpriced veteran general is getting purchased, so are the building slots. Complaining will do you no good. We all told BB from the beginning that the pricing structure for gems was way off, but it didnt' change and folks got use to it.

How are we to obtain and maintain to constant flow of playability, with outrageous prices, like these? Whether it gets changed or not is not the issue - it's not speaking up about. You have to at lest speak up about it. You never know what will happen. Most stop at step 2, some go to step 3. This game makes money at step 3, so imo they are adding new things to get you to step 3.
I've probably spent close to $1,000 on the game so far, and I cannot envision spending 3k gems for a fourth building slot, or 60 gems to get a fourth slot for an hour. I may be an isolated case, or I may speak for many when I say they've badly misjudged the pricing for these items. I ~might~ spend 5 gems for a temporary slot if I was try to crank out some fields after an extended absence. But 60? No thank you.
BB kept alluding to the additional slots in the building queue in past announcements of future features. Then when they finally add it, it is ridiculously overpriced. Will have to think about going on with this game...
( SUNSET GUILD) I undersatand the need for significant pricing on this but as it has been stated over and over these prices are way too high. I don't like to complain about things like this because it is optional. however. calling this an option to most players is laughable. I don't see myself ever being able to use these extra slots, as well as most of my friends. Please consider what all of the PLAYERS are saying and adjust these prices.
AND Thank you to all the other people who have gotten on to express your concderns rather than just accepting something that you have the chance of changing.
The price that the company wants to charge for another queue slot is outrageous, i understand this is a business and they are here to make money, not to makes us happy, but this price is really abusive, and makes the people who can't afford to pay for that kind of upgrade in a great disadvantage against others, shame on you developers for letting your greed take over this great game.

Come on now, not having extra building slots is definitely not enough of a disadvantage to make such a fuss over. It's a convenience feature. Sure, they could have made it cheaper, but it isn't something that you just have to have.
If anything you should complain about the 4999 gem cost of the 250 general, as not having that is most definitely a major disadvantage. Or the ridiculous price on things like copper deposits which makes them not worth buying from someone.

I'm not saying the price of these slots makes me so unhappy that I'll leave. I thought they were a dumb idea when I first heard about them and I'm sorry development time was spent on them when there are so many other things that could have received attention. But I find the pricing offensive, and eventually, if you offend me enough times ... I know where to find the door out of this place.
They last for 60 minutes. At least that's how long they lasted on the test server, as I haven't bought one on the live server.Quote:

I think maybe we price these things high to keep gem dealers from flooding the game with features they thought would sell high based on test server results. Me personally, I am waiting on the move building "feature". If it cost gems to move it, I may have to reconsider spending time on this.

I'm with you Tator_Tot - it's doesn't make sense economically. I've got no problem with paying for something, but at least make it reasonable. Bring the gem price down and make it so you can only buy 1. And 60 gems for 60 minutes? This is even worse. Again, not very economical.
As for the "Move Building" feature - no gems I hope. I'm willing to pay in resources, but not gems. I'll tear down a building before I pay in gems! Make it Hardwood or Marble or both, heck, even coins - but not gems. Make it take an hour to make a move or even 2 hours to make a move - but not gems!

I completely understand why people are up in arms about this, I am in the same boat. ~$15USD for a feature??!??!?!?!? not going to happen. Developers please understand that some/most/all just can't justify such a high expenditure.
Wouldn't it be a better money generator if you charged $1 and a 100, 000 people bought it instead of $15 and 100 people purchased? Same goes with all the other gem purchases, keep us existing players happy and more will come from word-of-mouth alone.

$15? That's a few months of Xbox live, where I can play tons of games with more features. $15 is too much for 1 add on slot.
YOU SHOULD NEVER BUY THE TEMPORARY SLOT INCREASE, as it almost always is cheaper and better to simply pay the gem cost to complete the current queue item.
Apparently you weren't here last year when the gem store went online. I was one of the most vocal about how much gems it cost for simple enhancements. BB or UBI simply didn't care. The prices never changed. Don't hold your breathe waiting for the cost of the general or the slots to decrease, it won't happen.Quote:

@Winsland, as Hondo has stated a post or two above yours, 60 gems for temp building slot = 60 mins. LOL, i wont spend gems on that feature either!
