Explorers will not be able to find soccer balls. Without purchasing gems, acquiring soccer balls will be limited to the one time adventures and daily quests.
So, what number of soccer balls can a player expect to obtain throughout the event without making a gem purchase? Would be helpful to know for planning purposes. Thanks!
why is it there is no Canada flower garden?
[Ubi Official] Soccer Event so what is the name of the Thread again? yeah
how much space do the friary's take up, is it the same as like a brewery or is there a shadow like the dark castle?
Also what does it take to upgrade them?
ah snap making the game play better yet
Can we have a gem sale with the event? A really, really good gem sale?!
Friaries are the size of a watermill (2x3).
Just something to add:
• The adventures are for players with level 26+ (like normal adventures), because there are enemy camps. Hence, it differs from Easter event!
If someone reaches level 26 during the event they should still be able to participate
• The first adventure island is sent via in-Game message and can be found in your mailbox
Cool new signature, Kate
When's the next gem sale?
Nothing for US watchers. Bah! Unfair we want a US flag.
I am from the USA. I love soccer and the US. I played it from 4 years old through college.
The event is European. We are graciously being invited to share in a promotion that we don't have any stake in. We should be grateful instead of whining about where our flag is. I assume that at some point there will be a promotion where a US flag is offered. I will buy it then.
Until then, it would help if we stop proving the incorrect (for some anyway) belief that Americans are self-centered and uncultured.
...When does the Event End?
I still can't log on and it is 5:24AM. When will the servers be up?
I am on Eastern time by the way.
bah... the US isn't even involved in the world cup... and neither is Canada (where I am from) so honestly, it makes sense that there are no flags for those countries. :P
oh well.... I'm tired... I guess I must have been thinking about something else...
I never watch soccer anyhow... more of a hockey fan. :|
never got invite...tear....................
so...there's deer running around all over the field, lots of them
is that a new challenge for the Euro Cup this year??
If my math is correct, you should be able to obtain 900 balls from just doing adv/quests, and no gem purchase involved. That is enough for one new building and no licenses or licenses and some buffs. Best thing to do if no gem purchase is going to be involved, is to utilize the trade option we all have and get more balls that way.
how long does it last?
Might be a bit premature to say how many soccer balls are going to be available per player during event.
I got 12 on first day of the event, plus 90 for finishing the first adventure. Then another 12 today, plus another 90 for this next adventure which I'll be able to finish in a few hrs. That's already 204 soccer balls and it's only been two days.
I have no idea how many matches (adventures) there are, but I'd imagine this event will last more than 9 days if the halloween and xmas events are any indication (I missed easter)
I remember the xmas event and adventure, and I was able to get the coal building no problem so I'd imagine the devs have set it up so that a player can in fact get the friary and 5 building licences without buying gems as long as he/she doesn't spend soccer balls buying buffs. ;)
According to the Germans:
Adventure (6 units á 90 footballs): 540 Daily Quest (1 per day with 12 footballs - 28 days): 336 Total: 876 footballs
Why do you not gain XP for the soccer battles?
so... when is the event ending...
Dartanian12, you DO gain xp! The first one alone was worth 10,250 -- enough for me to level! You collect it all at the end, not after each camp.
Dartanian12 I got 12140 xp for the first match.
Unfortunately, The shop purchased adventures do not provide any soccer balls and they do not have as much exp points as the original adventures. Example:
The 5th adventure had 15k exp, the shop purchased adventure has only 10k exp points. Still, with loss of only 400 recruits, it is better than Island of the Pirates with a loss of over 600 recruits and exp points of 2750.

IT is a cheap way to level up. I purchased all 12 adventures.
Update: the "Normal" adventures purchased from the shop, have fewer "bandits" therefore have less experience points. the "advanced" soccer adventures have the same as the original adventures and therefore the same exp points. The mix is exactly the same, so the guides still work.
the flag in not or should not be used.
so will adventures i acquire outside of quests, for example bought in gem shop, still be playable after the euro cup event is over?
