Summer Haiku Event

With the beautiful summer weather I thought it would be the perfect time to put our thinking caps on and create some summer themed haikus. This event will take place from 6/6 – 7/2. Fifteen players at random will receive 100 Gems! You can create as many haikus as you want, just make sure you have a separate post for each!

What is a Haiku? A haiku is a poem that is 17 syllables. The first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7 syllables, and the third and final line is 5 syllables.

Example Haiku:
Warm weather is here
Sun shining in my empire
My recruits are drunk

Prize: A random 15 players will win 100 Gems!

Rules: Must follow the rules of a standard Haiku.

Guard dogs are my bane
I must develop recruits
Experience grows

With summers Blossom
My wheat fields have come and gone
New Fields are coming

It's the best in all the land

Talk of balls balls balls
My heart cannot soar aloft

With the perfect king ruling
Just as the sun warms

Settle down summer
A notion far from his mind
He must find parties

Before I see farms
Today I see silos
Tomorrow the sun

Wake up and log in
Marble production be beat
Send them Jollys out

butterflies flying around–
nowhere to land

With Summer's hot days
We go to the pool to cool
and tan in the rays

Destined to be slain
On the sun drenched grassy plain
Recruits fall like rain

Hot searing heat waves
Many crops parched by long drought
only water saves

summer means football
north of the forty-nineth line
offense, defense, win!

The wind blows strongly
A soccor ball goes off course
Hitting the ref's face

Recruits sacrifice
To the leaders of camps
causes me to level

My general is dead
My soldiers are running
But my fir trees grow

Since Summer is here,
we all have nothing to fear
so let's grab some beer.

Nice days are so few
Time to have a barbeque
before fall is due

We go to the beach
cool waters within our reach
Sunburns recieved each

My empire greets me
The birds chirping merrily
I love being here

running in the sun
chasing soccer balls around
brew is what I need

birds sing merrily
golden grain ocean waving
summer seas are sweet

I'm setting inside
With my settlers online
As Summer flies by.

Euro Cup is here,
Quests and soccer balls galore,
Let the games begin!

For haiku, only
Creative minds can flourish,
Prized gems are reward.

Work so hard to earn
Soccer balls for a friary,
A drunken stupor.

Elite few reach the
Level of fifty, I plan
To join their ranks soon.

Work so very hard,
To buy coveted items,
Emptiness still there.

Deposits run out,
Mines collaspe into rubble,
I build and repeat.

A guild for the elite,
That no others can defeat,
SAGE I shall repeat!

I like beer you see.
But it makes me want to pee.
Hold on, brb!

Too many I don't need them
explorers get nords!

Snow melts.
Suddenly, the village
is full of settlers.

Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
