cant get on

I am also getting: DetectFlashVer is not defined @ http://www.thesettlersonline.net/en/play:33. Flame reported this earlier as well.

I just turned the web console on and I get the following:

Notice the 'undefined' on GET http://game-cdn.thesettlersonline.ne...g/AC_OETags.js. I believe this may be the problem which would also explain why the DetectFlasVer procedure is not defined. When I attempt to inspect this url, it doesn't exist (just as it says)

I'm having the same problem as you all. Was on this morning for a while now fopr the last 3 hrs. no go.

I haven't been able to long on - at all - since Thursday's maintenance.

My poor wheat fields and wells...can anything be done about them?

Is this something that is going to be worked over the weekend or should I just wait until Monday to try again. Also have you frozen the time for the people who have indicated that are getting the white screen of nothingness?

I've tried on a third computer and managed to get in, but I'm going to lose the soccer quest I'm on because I lost so much time being unable to get in. :-(

Anyone have an idea of what I could compare on the computer that works vs the one that doesn't?

i cant get in, was workign fine last night... this morning.. not chrome, internet explorer or mozilla... white screen OF DEATH!

Its been over a week for me too. I have fire fox as well. I sign in and it tells me "the client can not load data file, delete browser cache and try again" well I have done that over and over, defrag my computer, cleaned everything up and its still will not load. I see I am not the only one with this problem still. Starting to lose hope.

welp i see its still borked... 4 days and counting now..no settlers online.might be time to go play another game

this 'no load' problem happens every time the 'gods' change something. Seems like a nice game, but it is time to move on because the 'developers' seem to not give a %$^%. Glad I decided to NOT spend any cash on this limping dog. Doesn't seem like quality German engineering from this viewpoint.

working on my laptop but will not work on my desktop. I have not allowed my laptop to update flash player and the like.

I have tried deleting flash, and loading older versions, with no luck.

Ornias, have you tried it on another computer by chance?

I just hooked up my old computer, and I cannot get in on it either. It is running year old flash and video drivers. Same white screen. I even tried creating a new account, new email, direct login instead of facebook, and I still get the white screen.

I've tried it on three different computers (all running Windows XP) in IE, Firefox and Chrome. All three computers were able to log in just fine before the update. One works, two do not. Is there something I can compare on the one that works vs one that doesn't?

One thing I can tell you: on a non-working computer, in Chrome, I right clicked the white page and chose to View Page Source. The content of the page shows what someone might get if they don't have Flash installed at all, or if they have too old a version. I currently have Flash version 11.3.300.257 running in Chrome version 19.0.1084.56 m, if that helps.

On the computer that does work, I have the same version of Flash, and am using version 20.0.1132.47 m of Chrome.

This really has me confused. I finally got on using Opera (after installing the Flash update for browsers using plugins, ver 11.3.300.262), still can't get on using FF. Once in I started rebuilding and after awhile I lost chat server, then got server call failure, now can't get past loading page again.

Knock, Knock - any one home on the Blue Byte end? Evidently this is not being taken as a very high priority since you aren't keeping us very informed. My bet is that you didn't even work on it this last weekend. We would never get away with this *%#! in enterprise software. We would be (and do) work our butts off trying to get a fix to the customer and we wouldn't be waiting for the next normal update time. Evidently you guys don't care whether you get people's money. No way to run a business!!!

Cleared cache in Opera and did a fresh download. Only error Error Console showed was:

Bar does eventually finish loading but fails to go any further.

I use Firefox, but I have now tried Opera, Safari and Chrome, and they are all the white screen of death.

Ok i give up! I am rating this game as a big Fail and a waste of time.. Lets move on to another game..

Just got on, hopefully it is fixed. My place is wrecked though. It is lagging pretty bad though. Any action taken lags out Pandora. I am running a quad core, 8gb ram comp with 1 gb video card. My internet is a 10mb/s fiber optic connection.
