Losing my marbles

I had 2 marble quarries in sector 1, and eventually found two more in sector 5. One of the quarries in sector 1 became depleted. I sent my geologist out, but I didn't demolish the old depleted quarry. The geologist came back and said he had found another marble quarry, but I don't see it anywhere. I thought it would be back where the old one was. So I destroyed the depleted quarry and sent him out again but all I got was a message saying there were no more marble quarries to be found in my sectors. I'm level 18 and marble is a constraint for me, so does anyone know how I can find my missing marble?

sector 1 may have 2 marble sources, but you can only have 1 active quarry in that sector at a time.

There are also 2 Marble sources in sector 5, but you can have both active at the same time.

Perhaps one of those got discovered instead of the one you thought you were looking for.

Same is true for the iron in sector 5, there are 3 iron sources in sector 5, but you can only have 2 of them active at a time.



There are also marble sources in sector 3 & 8 if you've cleared out the bandits. ;)

Thanks for clearing that up. I had 2 marble masons in sector 1 but both of them must have been working on the same quarry. When that one runs out I will see if my geo can find them in the same places again. It will be a while before I can clear out sector 8.
