Clearing Section 3 with New Pathing

I'm trying to clear section 3 and my general keeps being diverted to a camp in section 6. I haven't explored section 6 yet, so I cannot see the camp or know it's strength. I can see part of the camp wall and it looks different then the "Easy" camps I've been attacking. I'm just a lvl 21 so far, so I have to assume it's a "Medium" camp in sector 6?

So, what is a low level new player suppose to do here? It will take weeks to build troops strength at the rate this game moves. I don't know what it was like before the path change as this is the first time it's happened.

OK, I decided to risk it since no one had any ideas. And I won the battle but lost the war. :(

The hard lesson I learned, do not send Bowmen. The dogs will eat them and never get a shot off. You need at least 150+ recruits minimum, or a mix of recruits and militia. Stronger troops if you have them would have been nice. I didn't have Cav's yet, so I cannot say how they work.

And if you send your army out to attack another camp and get intercepted, remember to Retreat your General or they will continue to the camp you sent them to. I did not know they would do this and had opened my mail window after the battle only to see the pop up notice that my General had started another battle. :(

Now I get to rest for 2 or 3 days to rebuild my army again. :(
