ok :-) I did notice on the guide for bandit camp, vet with cannons, that the attack sent to L2 has w2 using a normal, when it actually is a vet. This would be X7 on the guide.

Hey evil j, i was following your guide, doing surprise attack. And i lost all my elites. I am not blaming you. Let me explain my situation so you can take a look at it. So i was on the last sector. According to your guide, i need to block C 11, 12, 13 and 14. So I sent the first gen to block C 11. And i sent the second one to block C 13 and this second gen passed through C 11 without being intercepted. But a problem happened when i sent a third gen to block C 12. My timing was perfect. The red zone of C 13 had disappeared before my gen entered the zone. However, the third gen still got intercepted by C 13 even though the red zone of C 13 had disappeared before my gen entered the zone. According to blocking guide, your gen will not be intercepted if he enters the red zone after it disappears. But the opposite happened to me. Can you explain to me what really happened. Thank you. by the way i still love your guide though. But there is this problem
your supposed to send first to C12 and then to C13

The last block on Surprise Attack is too tight. Kill the first camp (48M loss with vet) and block the rest as shown.

Evil J. I have encountered an issue with your Bandits Nest, and Return to the Bandits Nest guides you have.
As for the time being, I am not sure exactly how this happened, but there is a glitch in the game causing the problem with your blocks (Tried 4 other guides for both, and not encountered it with them).
The problem is, the block is engaged with the camp, but the camp is still active, and intercepts generals.
I will be reporting this to BB as a possible bug to see if they can get to the bottom of things.

I am relying almost entirely on these guides, and sometimes some imageshack servers go down for a whole weekend. That is why i made an Evil_J guides mirror. It is hosted on Google sites, so i expect it to be somewhat more stable .. ;)
A quick note about the Bandits Nest Major guide - the first attack has a very small chance of losing 1:elite: and 1:cavalry:. I am generally lucky so it happened to me these days. Couldn't find an easy way around that in the sims, so i bring 1 more elite and cav just in case.
As for the mentioned fighting and intercepting general in RTTBN - i managed to do this also - the last block is quite long so when i sent the attacking general to the wrong camp instead of to the leader, i retreated him and sent him again. But this time the first blocked camp was intercepting - its red area was up, and tho it had no smoke my blocking general was in there fighting. So after 2-3 attempts to send the major to the leader i gave up and small-catapulted the 2 bandit camps.

- the siege vet guide is up, no cannons, no major, they dont really make a difference in this adventure, so just made 1 guide
buccaneer roundup next
these take a bit longer to run, its a pain in the rear end to get the blocks from 2-3-4 landzones...bah
humm some minutes, depends on the guide, the more complex ones take some hours, but just made 3 versions of buccaneer in a few minutes :)

Evil J - in Sons of the Veldt MG version, in sector 2, why are you blocking C7 twice? Once with X8 and again with X11. You do not indicate a failed block with X8, nor are there 2 set-ups for C6 and C7
Also, in your total troops needed, you need to add an M
