Evil J, let me first say, you're guides are awesome *bows*
In your Major General Guide for Surprise Attack, when it says what generals go where, it says Veteran, instead of Major.
Also .. No Cannons needed for it? dang! :)
I'd also like to add, your guides say to attack in quick succession. I've done attacks too fast, and some get intercepted.
I've learned, over the time I've been playing, that if you wait for the drum roll to end before sending the next attack, you don't get problems, unless you screwed up the attack in another way (Like I have done more times then I can remember).
Just an FYI:
103ES:
120s block: 96.7%
140s block: 3.3%
99ES:
80s block: 2.6%
100s block: 29.7%
120s block: 19.1%
140s block: 23.8%
160s block: 19.0%
180s block: 5.7%
Your simulations don't take into account the 'battle time' -- just the 'rounds'. We're still waiting for one that does.
UPDATE
- added vet and vet cannon guides for whirlwind, and fixed a couple typos on the major version too
just started tomb raiders, guide should be up later today
You do great work Evil and you are a real service to TSO players.
thanks wimpy
UPDATE
- added major and dual vet cannon guides for tomb raiders, nice quick and easy adventure with decent loot :)
Thanks evil_J.
Your major guide works well :)
But doesn't guarantee a bone church. :P Someone else got it. blah..will just have to try again.
got a BC on my first WW, dont need to do more now, dont even like the adventure :p
of all these co-ops i enjoyed tomb raiders, short, low losses, nice loot
I love tomb raiders loot... nice R and B losses only, make sure all you homer-like noobs figure out which player you are in these co-ops, some of the blocks have timing delays due to small landing areas not being able to spread gens out far enough.
The delays, if any, are listed in evil's guides using color-coding for which player is which...
I almost lost 168E today cause I didn't bother to read the guide all the way. Fortunately my retreat beat the lag :)
I found 2 General placements that are not possible any longer, I believe.
1) Major guide for CLT, x19 (near the well)
2) Major guide for HLT, x19
Odd that both are x19? I go to place the general there, but the spots are not lit up, and thus, no general can be placed there.
For CLT, I had to move it closer, and I counted to 2, before sending the Major, and it worked fine.
I just got to the spot in HLT, will be interesting to see what becomes of the situation.. *gets ready to queue up a lot of Elites*
on Sons also i had to do same thing
and on DB the spots for the blocker is gone now refreshed and tried different PC the stupid changes is messing it up i think. oh cannon run DB
seems dirt roads dont disappear now, causing these problems...bah to the devs
Evil_J, you are a prince for your constant making & revising of your guides so the rest of us can ride your coat-tails. Oooooh-rahhhhh! Please keep it up!
One question, are you going to make guides using the new MMA general? I've been told that with first strike, it's like having 50 cav. I'd sure like to be able to use MMA to the fullest advantage.
UPDATE
- added a vet cannon guide for garrun the trapper, didnt bother with major or vet without cannon, the adventure isnt worth the cost
would be super thankful for guides with the new general:) since i love your guides...
well, whats taking u so long? LOL just joking evil:P
not buying eggs yet lol too expensive
o.o getting my MoMA today or tomorrow. Just need about 100 eggs. Come on evil_J your turn :P
hehe
UPDATE
- added MMA guide for MSE
Thank you Evil. I will have my MMA shortly.
You rock dude
awesome! :)
Here is my blocking solution for the L7 block on CLT with roads still there:

I used a MMA general with 40C as X20, but that should not matter.
EJ - you're a rock star!
Hello Evil_J ...On the europe server, I have played .Witch of the Swamp. veteran version with your guide, I just want to note, my 1R block failed, luckily recalled my veteran in time, then I tried again, placed a new regular general left-below the other injured general, then I did the 1R block once again, sending the veteran general
1 second after the drum sound and block succeeded (:
Hey Evil_J - Great fast DB guide. Wonder if we can save some cavs with the MMA?
where do i find the guides
very very cool guide for all settlers,so easy and clear to understand.Thank you so much
hey Evil, for the MMA MSE guide: I see a pic for X16 and X17 for L9, but troops for X16 >> L9 only. Can you confirm that is correct? :)
yep only 1 wave, so just use x16
Updated the VET guide to use the MMA a few places. I did not update the final stats at the bottom. Saves ~65R.
Here are the attacks using the MMA and Major general on Roaring Bull:
- C1: 45R 1E 161C 13XB (MMA)
- C2: 136R 1M 133K (Maj)
- C3 60S 121E 13B [Block]
- C4 1R [Block]
- WT1: 126R 1E 143K (Maj)
- C5: 62R 74B 84XB (MMA)
- C6: 72E 128C [Block]
- WT2: 54R 91B 75XB (MMA)
- C7: 1R [Block] x2
- WT3 W1: 1R (MMA)
- WT3 W2: 126R 1E 5C 128XB (Maj)
Units Needed: 553R 1M 60S 122E 161C 164B 138XB 143K
Max Losses: 553R 1M 164B
Average Losses: 528R 160B
Or if you prefer R loss instead of B:
- C5: 120R 30B 120K (Maj)
- WT2: 111R 49B 110K (Maj)
Units Needed: 666R 1M 60S 122E 161C 79B 138XB 143K
Max Losses: 666R 79B 1M
Average Losses: 641R 77B
You can also have your first lootspotter send a 1R MMA tag to C2 before you attack to save you around 25R on that attack.
UPDATE
- added RB MMA guide
- fixed X19 position in both CLT guides
KidC, your C2 has 270 troops, MMA in there will put losses aorund 166R :)
I don't always use a guide.But when I do its a Evil_J guide
