In oil lamp, CoA version, the camp c9 not last long enough, the battle ended, before even the winning bar of L7 start, I'm sure I send all generals so fast, but this block seems was short.

Second but minor, and I don't think it is necessary to redo all text just for me (or people suffer from this :D ):
I really have an issue with reading red, if you can color camps with lighter red easier to read (close to orange maybe?) or white shadow?

For EXP it is worth to do many WC with so fewer troops losses.

This is a close block, but should work. I run these whenever I am blessed with them... lol This is a block where if anything about the sending of my generals did not feels smooth, i recall them all and resend them until it does. Sometimes I have to resend them 4-5 times. It is worth it in the end.

Oh. The danger with going ahead and assaulting multiple leaders ahead of the guide is that they may be leaders in the same sector which means that ALL leaders must be defeated to release the blocking generals... Be careful when going out of order, if there is a block involved, be very careful and see if there are any other leaders in the same sector.

The guide is easy and clear, I sent attack L6 and L7 together, and everything was looking good, this is just the C9 not lasted long enough, just 1 extra round would be enough, maybe risky block?
Anyway, I don't care so much about the losses (was 155 MS) but just a feedback.

Swapper was doing oil lamp in EvilJ guide, as you can see it seems the block is really tight:

On Venture 'One Step Ahead' if you kill C16 before you kill C14, you can use NUS + 165 AM to kill C17 without the R losses, sims out ok and tried it in practice (once), zero losses.

Does mean camp order is slightly adjusted though that shouldn't be a problem.

I played Oil lamp CoA version again , and I started attack with send block on L7 first then L6, so I sent X11, X12 and X13 then X7, X8 and X9 after, and it succeeded.

Also, i think C7 is possible to block with 1R attacks? isn't?

I'm running the Evil queen chain with all three CoA gens, and have some update suggestions.

Fisherman - The guide says 5 normal gens. The blocks require 7 regular gens, implying a 4 hour wait for the first 2 to recover. But the second block has text asking for 3 regular gens while the pictorial shows 2 regular and a BHG. I tried the two regular and one BHG version and it worked. Updating the text to match and specifying 6 regular gens for the adventure would clarify it and speed it up.

Hansel and Gretel - I speed it up a little bit after killing C11 by sending an MG with 270MM to C13 and let C12 intercept it. Saves one return trip.

Pied Piper - For L10 you have W1 150S (An) followed by W2-3 1R (MMA). You get much better results by sending the 2 MMA first and then Anslem.

soon will post my printscreens of general skills for anyone that wants to follow, remember, to use my guides with skills, you need your gen skills to match mine in some of the options

Curious.. why Unstoppable charge on MMA?
Not saying if it is good or bad.. just wondering, in case there is some specific reason, for MMAs to have it, and not others..

yep, they do some knight and cav sacs, better this way, not typical for mmas to go on high rounds fights, not at ft/baba level atleast :)

Wondering why you didn't go with 1-Up for MMAs since they are most often used a sac general?

Soon there will be 8 (AFAIK).. Again, no end to how many MMA sac you can make... So I'd think 8 is probably enough for most adventures..

been hard to find good uses to sac 6 mmas, surely dont need 16 sacs :)

Sole exception I can think of is DB.... though I doubt anyone running enough of these to warrant the use.

My highest potential total sacs on an adventure is 118, though I rarely do quite that many but close. I realize that is not normal.

What about lowering Jog and navigation to 2/3 each? this allows for 2 points to be moved to fast learner, wouldn't the tiny bit slower map/adv transfer be worth the gain in XP?

Or even 3/3 jog 1/3 navigation depending on what you'd value.

the xp skills are useless, it only counts the troops you actually kill with the gen, i block and skip alot of camps

if you look closely, i invested everything to speed up the boredom of running adventures ;)

But I agree, XP skill is rather uninteresting.. (at least to me as well)

I'm going to wait and see what the guides look like before making a decision, though I suspect the savings will be good. I already spent all my tomes anyway. I'm thinking maybe swapping out navigation for fast learner at least on Majors, Vargus, and Anselm. I don't run so many adventures that I can't wait a few extra minutes for some more XP. I also like the farmer concept for those camps that you kill with no losses (Veteran at 265 with hostile takeover, fast learner, and bounty hunter).

Maybe I missed something with woodcutter. Just sent BHG, BHG, AN to C4, C5, L2, like the last 8 times. Counted troops on fingers.
This time BHG and BHG finish very fast, like before L2 arrives almost. 228 extra MS to grow from "successful failed" blocks. Not sure what happened, didn't give BHGs any books.
Also a typo I think on map. L3 troop count indicates MG for gen. Marching instructions says MMA

Did you send C4/C5/L2 while C3 was fighting? If that fight finishes during your C4/C5/L2 send, the generals will be pathed differently, L2 attack can get intercepted, and the blocks will "win" while L2 sits in C5 waiting to go on to L2.

KingHomer, C3 was finished before I sent the C4/5/L2. I will watch what happens next time. I will use reg gens for C4/5 to slow the blocks.

Incorrect, paths are set in stone once the attack has been sent, even if C3 falls while they are walking, they will still phantom march around that camp.

Not sure what counted troops on finger means, but did you verify the correct numbers?
When my block fail that are usually solid, it's either because I entered the numbers too fast and 168 only got 68 "entered" or I'm assigning too fast with too few spare troops in limbo, meaning that I entered the correct numbers, but when I assigned the 2nd Gen, the available troops haven't updated yet from assigning Gen1 and ends up getting assigned with fewer troops than I had available.
In both cases you can easily spot it in your combat logs, but chances are you autopilot deleted them already....story of my life as well hehe

Correct... Personally experienced.. :)

Ceruhe - If the C3 attack is in progress when you launch C4 and C5 and finishes before you launch L2, the gen attacking L2 takes a different path past where C3 used to be, shortening his walk relative to the blockers... hard to explain that clearly. Try it. L2 gets intercepted by C5 in that case if you send quickly. Of course, you will lose some blockers if you do.

So you have to launch C4/C5/L2 either well before C3 is done or wait until it's down to make sure all three gens in the L2 attack follow the same path past c3.

Your explanation is more likely, but whether or not C3 is there affects pathing to the later camps.

Correct, if the blockers get send while C3 is alive, yet L2 attack is being sent AFTER C3 goes down, that will alter the pathing indeed. I guess an accident like that could happen, especially if you don't know about such mechanics in the first place or haven't paid attention and picked the perfectly wrong timing. Though I'd sort of argue the chance of that happening is rather slim overall, seeing as 3 Gens get send back to back and picking the precise moment when C3 is at like 1.5 bars left is another skill one must acquire beforehand lol

"Long" story short, if all Gens were sent before or after [the] camp goes down the pathing remains unaffected, regardless from where it was sent and however long it takes to get there (say a LZ from ToK to the center of the map).

in terms of saves, the barracks time goes like
3.2h on wc
3.8h on 1st
7.7h on 2nd

Hey evil quick question. I see i think how you got the 3.2h savings on WC. 291MS - 253MS = 38MS x 5 minutes = ~3.2hours. I guess my question do the losses take into account the 9% return of losses?

If not would that mean you get back 9% of 253MS = 23MS with rounding which is another 115 minutes or almost 2 hours so really you can save almost 5 hours of rebuild time.

Just curious if that was part of calculation as well.

And thank you for sharing your setup, actually I was studying them, all was make sense, and seems i'll follow the same setup, but I was wonder about only 1 skill.

Why you used Juggernaut skill for nusala? I could invest 3 books on "Just as flesh wound" skill, so nusala could be used 2 times at least on adventure, 1 hour recovery time it really awesome, and really extra 60 dmg (can be = to 10 cavs in avg), not big deal.

Evil always does such a good job... Soon the world will only know the word 'Evil' as a good thing.. :D
