Thanks. I put off doing any Evil Queen ventures waiting for an update. These are nice savings. Still not worth doing, but I suppose I should if I want to upgrade that farmyard I don't need.

Thanks for the new Evil Queen guides. Although I think on Snow White there is a mistake regarding the number of troops required. 146 MS is too low, only to fill the first block camps there is need for more then 200 MS.
UPDATE
- added VLT skilled guide, saved 5.08h
- improved 1st thief skilled guide, saved another 1.4h by changing where the sacs were done
- fixed number of MS needed for snow white skilled guide
Is the 1st thief skilled guide working? I'm getting an error from that link
fixed both
UPDATE
- added CLT skilled guide, saved 8.59h
- added SLT skilled guide, saved 4.68h
Comment from Thorwik on the Newfoundland server: "The Hansel & Gretel skilled guides states you need 236k when you in fact need 343k to be able to do all attacks as the guide instructs."
I found recently that FG_1R block, stacked with other general on top of it, quite often (almost every time) intercepts generals marching behind. I replaced my block with Tav_gen instead of FG and it works for me. Had an issue with First Thief on a big block with 3MMA sacs. The gen before those MMA's got intercepted because of the FG+MG duo hit in front of him. FG dies but intercepts Tav gen marching behind him.
send faster =)
ive been using a bit different setup on 2nd thief final to avoid that, will take a screen when i run it again and update the guide
UPDATE
- added improved wisdom skilled guide, saved another 3h of racks time
- added princess short skilled guide, saved 27.4h compared to coa guide
- added princess full run skilled guide, saved a brutal 115.1h compared to guide with vargus
short run is still more efficient xp wise than the full
only hlt and seasnake left to guide, the snake has been missing my pathfinder quests or it would be done already :)
Pied Piper L3 has 2 sac waves of MMA with bowmen followed by a sac wave of MMA 1MM. This works better if you send the MMA 1MM first and then the two bowmen waves as there will be fewer foxes to chew up the bowmen.
UPDATE
- added HLT skilled coa guide
- improved 2nd thief skilled coa guide, updated last block setup, this positions will work alot better for slower clickers, also re-simmed L2 because i was having MM losses there
Got problem on the 2nd thief, no guide shows the positioning of generals for attack on C7 & L6. On note 8 you mention that it should be after L6 but how to kill it in the first place?
I have yet so far really appreciated your guides so I just hope to get some help to understand this one :)
Normally Evil_J guides do NOT show starting positions of attacks that do not involve blocks or some sort of multi-leader attacks(s). For these 2 attacks in 2nd Thief, just move to locations that you can directly strike the targets without getting intercepted by the camps to the left; normally I place these generals just to the left of L8/C8.
UPDATE
- added lost city skilled coa guide, L3, L5 and L6 were simmed with windows calculator, should be perfectly safe =)
Hi again EvilJ, thanks for new guides, mistakes and improvements I found:
1. For WC it X14 and X15 confusing, the correct one is the small version, but the zoomed out need to swap, lost some of troops when I followed the zoomed order.
2. For princess (full) no need to block C8, C8 can be cleared with 285 MM, also, in the X2 in notes you said send Major, while in the details it is Anselm, so I suggest to place Anselm behind major, send major with 285 MM to C8, and then Anselm to L3, so no need to re-garrison, and no need to block C8 at all.
3. for princess (full) L5, in picture it is Major while you have to place Vargus.
4. For princess (full), Nusala with 108 Cav got really fast into C27 red zone and intercepted I think just 1 flag waiting might be helpful.
Edit:
5. For princess (full): L14 I lost 195 AM after 160K wave (you say 154 but I added 6 more just I like fixed numbers :P), the attack is not correct at all! good I got assassins handy so I finished the 2 leaders left before it become worst.
6. For princess (full): You don't need to fight camps from 49-52, just kill L21 with arrows and it will clear out all those camps, saving 161MS + 23K and the walking time to kill those camps, guess what, you can garrison there too.
7. For princess (full), after you kill L21 you can garrison there and kill backward way, I'll edit this answer with the order of attacks and troops saved.
Edit:
Again for point 7 and point 6, with arrows killed L21, garrison in place of L21 and attacking backward, I skipped camps:
C39 = 58MS
C40 = 37MS
C44 = 38MS + 36K
C45 = 19MS
C49 = 34 MS
C50 = 13 MS
C51 = 35MS + 23K
C52 = 23 MS
L21 = 55MS
So saved 312MS and 59K
After kill L16, kill L21 with arrows, garrison on that area then:
The attack order was: C48 -> C47 -> L20 -> C46 -> L19 -> C41 -> L17 -> C42 -> C43 -> L18
I feel maybe a block around is possible like C42 but I'm not pro like you with blocking :D , finished full princess and here is my loots:

This happens from time to time as previous/other versions can share identical starting positions, In Evil_J guides follow the notes and you'll be fine.
Interesting, that spot has been used for a while now in the Evil_J guides, and have yet to have it fail, though will watch.
Dollars to donuts your MMA is NOT skilled as required for this guide. Check out Evil's Skills Guide here. Using the required troops in the properly skilled generals, that attack works just fine. Using additional Knights is a waste as they cannot do enough damage to the Captains and the Captains will regenerate in time for the second wave.
Interesting. Might have to run one later to check this out...
Congrats on your accomplishment and on the building! :D
You are right, I checked the sim, it should work, maybe I was mistaken and attacked with wrong MMA, I have only 1 MMA skilled, it seems attacked with another MMA.
About extra 6 Knights, I know it is waste, I just wanted to decrease my Knights in stock, i have too much already :)
Well, I can confirm point 5 is false, but about point 4, no idea what is happened, I checked my garrison and it is 100% as what showed in the guide, and already the spot too tight to make garrison in different space.
If it is working well for you, it should be lag from TSO itself then, but this is what happened to me, i was watching all the time, but not got the chance to retreat it was too late already, the block hit (and before the animation start) when nusala was crossing first flag in red zone, intercept message started with attacking animation.
the last sector in princess changed in a recent maintenance, AFTER i made the guide =)
as i said before, the garrison shown in the picture doesnt matter, i try to keep them matching but not always bother screenshoting again; also on C8 if you pay attention i use the same screenshot for 2 blocks, and 1 of the positions is used in both blocks with both major and anslem :)
ive a princess in stock, might run it soon and re-edit the full guide
I ran another full princess in backward this time, was trying to make short version too, and this is how i did depends on same guide here, so all attacks are the same except the underlined attacks, also in sector 2 and sector 1 there is a new block, could possible more blocks, but this is my first time I create block for Alies, familiar with only PvP blocks :P
Note I saw that the backward way is really slow walking longer way until you get down of this mountain, then it is so fast.
And please note my new attack is not perfect I used fast simulation and i was looking for avg not passing (0.5) unit.
For short version, I forgot that it is enough to kill only 5 sailors leaders or 6? so I think you can skip some leaders if you want save some troops,
Where ever I say skip it is only for short run not full run.
Short run:
First L21 kill with arrow - 0
C48: 267MM (MG) - 0
C47: 24MS + 111K + 30M (Ans) - 23MS + 31K
L20: 84MS + 201MM (MG) - 83MS
C46: 270MM (MG) - 0
L19: 91MS + 74AM (Ans) - 90MS
C41: 39MS + 90MM + 160B (MG) - 39MS + 59K
L17: 54MS + 9K + 102B (Ans) - 54MS + 9K
C42: 39MS + 90MM + 40B (Var) - 38MS
C43: 270MM (MG) - 0
L18: w1: 60K (MMA) , w2 18MS + 150AM + 117B (MG) - 18MS + 60K
C40: 38MS + 70B (Ans) - 37MS
C39: 58MS + 90AM + 47MM (Var) - 58MS (maybe possible block instead??).
L16: 77MS + 60AM + 148MM (MG) -77MS
L13: 51MS + 165AM + 69MM (MG) - 50MS (you may skip this and kill L12)
C34: 38MS + 70B (Ans) - 37MS
L12: 8M + 270AM (MG) - 8MS (you can skip it, but really it is only 8MS, kill it and skip another leader like L13 if you want save troops)
C33: 200AM + 70MM (MG) - 0
C31: 48MS + 147MM (Var) - 48MS
C32: w1: 6C (MMA), w2: 50MS + 145AM (Var) - 49MS + 6C
The CX camp here is the new camp below C25, the name of camp is D9 if you use FastSIM.
C29-C28-CX: 27MS + 258MM (MG) - 27MS ( send as 1 wave to C28).
C26: 30MS + 135MM (Ans) - 29MS
C25: 42MS + 100MM + 53B (Var) - 41MS
L10: w1: 108C, w2: 98MS + 30AM + 157MM (MG) - 108C + 97MS
So for short run losses are:
853MS + 159K + 114C
or if you did not skip L13
903MS + 159K + 114C
For full run continue:
L11: 64MS + 30AM + 71B (Ans) - 63MS
C24: 270MM (MG) - 0 (also you can send to C22 if you use more exp skill, this will kill C22, C23 and C24 in 1 wave).
L9: 52MS + 233MM (MS) - 52MS
L8: w1: 1R (Nus), w2: 70MS + 29AM + 186MM (MG) - 70MS
C30: 45MS + 40MM + 50B (Var) - 45MS
C35: 18MS + 70AM + 197 (MG) - 17MS
BLOCK part: C36 - C37 and kill L14 - L15 (same as your guide) - 154K
L7: 100MS + 105K + 80B (MG) - 100MS + 66K
C18: 13MS + 82K + 70B (Ans) - 12MS + 46K
C17: 37MS 50AM + 198MM (MG) - 36MS (maybe possible to block here? is it worth to block tho?)
L6: 58MS + 30AM + 197MM (MG) - 58MS
C11: 95MS + 100MM (Var) - 90MS (kill instead of block in previous version)
L4: 91MS + 194MM (MG) - 90MS
NEW BLOCK C12 - C10 and kill L5 - C8 - L3
Spoiler
This is new block, sadly I failed to block C10 first time, was 6-6 rounds, but really close to success, so I found better attack using sim, this block last 8-8 rounds:
C10: w1: 25C (MMA) - 25C
Then when w1 almost hit the camp, send block:
C12: BLOCK 174MS + 26AM - 0
L5: 79MS + 90B (Var) - 78MS
C10: BLOCK w2: 200MS - 0 (this general on this picture is dead :D )
When general of w2 to C10 reach red X (perfect X here isn't? :P ) send:
C8: 270MM (MG) - 0
L3: 47MS + 10AM + 108B (Ans) - 47MS
C6: 270AM (MG) - 0
L2: 60MS + 30AM + 195MM (MG) - 59MS
NEW BLOCK C5 and Kill L1
This was easy tho :D
Spoiler
C5: BLOCK 125MS + 75AM - 0
L1: 41MS + 124B (Ans) - 41MS
And this should be done here:
So for FULL run losses are:
1761 MS + 425K + 139C
Somehow losses was close to what I did and described before, so maybe attacking from start point until L16 then kill L21 then attack backward is the same as attacking backward all the way, lazy to calculate, but you maybe can see this, BUT for short run, longer time but much smaller losses, previous version was around 1134MS + 250K but if you start from top, only 850MS + 159K.
Those losses not counting what return back from first aid, even it is look like you loss so much, in my case 105MS returned to me (lvl 2 first aid), in your skill guide you will get back 158MS (lvl 3 first aid), also, this is only if you always getting max loss, so, I lost in real game maybe around 1300MS for full run.
This adventure for me is way better than Treasure of Knowledge, and a lot better now; the loots better, exp better, but for sure if you looking exp, this is not best one, doing a lot of woodcutters worth more, but for fun, and for loots, this is really awesome adventure, IMO.
Just a note from a player in my post here in EU forums:
Is anyone else having trouble with the C26 1R block on the Princess short run? I've found it failing 3 times in a row, where the major attacking the leader gets intercepted right after he enters the L9 camp but before he starts fighting. It's happened every time, otherwise I'd assume I got the timing wrong
send faster =)
or place major 1 square closer
I tried. Then he gets intercepted early, before the blocking gen starts his attack. I think I'm going to try to send a second 1R blocker as backup if I can work out the placement. Not too many spots on that map.Quote:
or place major 1 square closer
Thanks for all you do!
Any prizes for smallest possible barracks time savings?
On BLT, C15 is 23R 1E (AN). You can use 22R (AN). Anslem himself takes the place of the 23rd recruit and 1 Elite. Decreases your losses from 23R to 22R.
UPDATE
- fixed typo on WC skilled map as pointed above
- added seasnake skilled guide
- added short and full runs map for princess in reverse killing
Hansel and Gretel (skilled) needs an update on the amount of K required and lost.
The amount required and lost is listed at 236K
You have losses of 218K in camps C3 through C6, and then need 130K for C7. So requirements for K are 348K.
You have losses of 18K in C7 and again in L9, so losses are 254K.
Also, C6 has losses of 180K and 32MS. This is an "easy" camp and vulnerable to a small catapult.
That seems like enough loss reduction to warrant at least adding the option "or small catapult" to the battle orders for C6.
On second thief, C1, for me a 4x1R block is a pain in the behind, to set up and also send it timed enough that it works. I take out C1 with a skilled major instead, 100 MS and 180 MM, lose 25 MS max, much less of a headache. I know it is all about saving troops, but in this case I rather take the loss.
Thank you EvilJ for updates, but my question do we really need to L5, L10 and L11 with camps around for short run?
Got chance to see my setup: https://forum.thesettlersonline.net/...l=1#post281665
based in v1 of princess
You can skip those camps in princess, but i like to get that xp because its a good ratio, its 17ms and 154k to take down l10 and l11, and get the xp for the whole sector, much better than going straight to targets. L5 costs a bit more but you skip another camp in the way, not sure how much it costs, in the end ill get a mch better xp per loss ratio
C1 on 2nd thief i do that way to be able to use only 3 regulars, helps with running back to back
