Want to win a large amount of Gems for your creativity!? We have three tasks for you to complete in order to win 5,000 Gems! That is a possibility to win 15,000 Gems in total! This is a world wide event that all of our individual gaming territories are running.

Events to Complete

Settlers Postcard Event
Prizes: 3 Grand Prize winners that send us the Settlers Online related postcards will get 5,000 Gems! The community team will select their favorites as winners. Additionally 3 other players will get 1,000 Gems. The 1,000 Gem winners will be chosen as random.

I understand the concept of creating contests. And I'll admit this one is one of the better ones I've seen.
But when you break it all down you're talking about 5,000 gem and retail from their own site that amounts to $25.
Hardly something to get too excited about.

the contests are nice buuuuuuuuuuuut, why couldn't the postcard one be done on ceo itself? it has to be a "real" postcard created and then mailed. We all have lives that involve school,work, kids etc and as players on this site we devote a good portion of our "free time" as it is. It would have been more effective and garnered more response from players if it could have been an e-card created and then sent via email. IMO I have yet found a event that was worth me spending time on for a decent prize.

Thank you for the contests BB! For those of us who don't have disposable income, this is a great chance to get a large amount of gems that we wouldn't otherwise be able to get. And it gives a chance for Settlers fans to show off their talents! Great fun!
