Hello, everyone! I just built the Hunter bldg and he depleted the nearest resource. There are other resources near the building, yet he is not hunting those. What needs to be done to get him to hunt other locations?

The hunter should move on to the next resource. Try a swift kick to the butt! If that doesn't work, have you tried refreshing your browser? Is your warehouse of meat maxed out? If none of these work, I would submit a ticket to support.
As with fishers, hunters will travel to the next deposit when the one closest to him gets depleted. However, the travel time for him to go to that deposit, get the meat, go back to his storehouse (not the closest to the deposit, the closest to his hut) means you are going to use the meat way faster that you can collect it.
Use one deposit and keep it stocked.
provision house, deer musk. good stuff
Once the resource is used up they move on to the next deposit of meat.
Open yr Provision House & look at the deposits, make deer musk which you then place on the empty deposit closest to the hunter building, production is much faster if their deposit is close. Same with fish, you have to make a deposit in the Provision house then place on the empty fishing spot closest to a fishery.
