everything was fine all day, but a few mins ago the game started freezing when switching maps, and not loading when i log in at all. another guild member also mentioned crashing every 5 mins.

I can no longer log into the game.
I'm getting the same issue. Either it stalls on the loading screen or if it loads it stalls after playing for a couple of minutes.
I've had these same problems as well. Would be a good idea to send support a ticket so they are aware of the problem.
yup, definitely something going on.....its close to 2am for me and I never have any problems but having trouble with lag and staying logged in

i just got on for 2 minutes and game froze up...no techies awake to fix this at this hour I guess.
today the techies are meant to be on for the weekly maintenance,
they probably started it early without giving us time to prepare.
they might not consider it was worth informing us about this

Nah maintenance is tomorrow not today so that's not likely. And when that's happening you can't even connect to the game. It's currently accepting connections and that's about as far as it's getting.
