You quit ... can i have resources?
The troops you "lost" land on the adventure without being in a general. For example, I use this on IotP to make it easier for me, send the slow generals with my high-level troops, when everything arrives they're already unloaded.
Later, drop a slow general down for wave one.
Adding to what bombcar said, the reason that happens is because the garrisons think they have nowhere to land unlike before and will unassign all troops on landing and return to your star menu. I don't know if it's a bug or if this is now a feature but in either case it's not hard to work around it.
I know what noidea is talking about-the troops aren't just unassigned, their gone, not at adventure, not on a gen and not at home. They go poof, have had it happen twice and am very careful now to make room for slower gens by moving fast gens out of way or by not using them at all. I only lost a total of 400 recs but that was nearly enuf to do 1 iotp....
This is disturbing, how many generals are we talking when this happens?
I send 4 generals at a time and usually end up in the same landing zone. Does this happen when you have more than 4?
Generals don't matter, he did not follow guide or use simulator. Everything he did, including posting this, was done with impatience.Quote:

This game requires patience. :/

Good morning Persarum. Both NOIDEA/Dovahkin341 both stated that the troops never arrived on the adventure island and in Dovahkin341's case, they were not at home. Can you please explain how following a guide or usuing a simulator would have prevented the loss of troops that were sent to the island?? Thanks.

I think you misunderstand. He was not attacking, he was simply sending the troops with their general from the home zone to the adventure zone. Going to the adventure menu and selecting "send army" does not require a guide or a combat simulator.
When I posted my comment, for some reason courtneylee's post wasn't posted. I do agree with her statement.
Ty Lord, the first time it happened I thought I had sent a gen unloaded(not first time XD) but when I checked my troops on my map I was missing 200 recruits, not on my map not on the adventure map and not attached to a gen, that was two weeks ago and they have still not shown up. Yes this glitch only appears when you an adventure with a small landing zone (like in iotp where the landing zone accomodates 4 gens). I now make sure to move my fast gens a soon as possible or only use them to avoid sending troops to the dark void :D
Apparently it is now. I think it has something to do with space available for garrisons in the "starting zone" of an adventure. If you send more garrisons that there is physical space for, the generals "disappear". So in an adventure that requires 1200 troops, sending 6 generals when there is only room for 5, causes one general and his 200 troops to never arrive, but also not get sent back to the home zone either.
This could be a grown up version of the missing general fiasco/bug of April.
Very interesting, so this can have a negative effect if you send more generals to a small adventure. I have only used 3 gens for pirates :/. Went smoothly.
