New Test Server Event

From August 9th to August 27th, we will be hosting a huge testing event where you can win loads of cool prizes for your regular account. All you need to do is log into your test-server account between any two of the specified dates (on the picture, 10th to 13th, 13th to 15th etc...) and play for at least 15 minutes. For example, if you login between the 10-13 you get a prize, but if you log in between the 17-20 you get a different prize. There are 8 prizes to earn in total. You will receive rewards for your testing at the end of that specific testing phase (13th, 15th, 17th etc.) that can be used on your main TSO account!

I like the game as you have it here, but some of the quests do not reward like they are supposed to, for instance, the special buff you gave for the barracks, I used it and still 2 days later it is still waiting for me to use it. I do not feel I should have to buy a packet of gems to do that quest. Otherwise not too bad actually I like it. Thank You Judith Cox aka Elaine of Covet Accord.

ummm i Really enjoy playing the test. The wait time to get in the server was a headache at times but it seems like you may have fixed that. I do like the gameplay, it is a lot more smoother and the new tutorial makes it easier to understand. The only thing that i didnt like is how i was suppose to get a reward for playing but dont recall getting one and yes i did verify my email....lol

Really a fun time I hope it helped, only thing never got rewarded, it was verified also.

I was able to get into the test system on Friday the 10th, before I was kicked out, but have had no luck since then. Every time I try to log in, it goes to a white page, then back to the home page. It's noted on the home page that this was a bug that was fixed. Not for me. I sent a support ticket (8/11), and as usual, no response. Can you please help me BB_Katealyst. Thank you very much.

Hi! I am stuck on level 4 and have been for days. I can't seem to find an answer, can you help me? On level 4 I can only build Pine Cutters, Pine Foresters, and Pine Saw Mills. I have tried everything. But with the Mayors House filled with Pine wood, I couldn't finish the Letter Quest. But actually it should have been done, it took a little of the wood and planks and it filled up the Mayors House. Yet when it came to the "Letter Quest" it shows that only 3/4 of the quest was completed. But that is wrong! No where in the quest does it state amount, so I should have had the Quest completed, and went to the next level.
Now for the next level, I need 30 exp. points. How do I get that? Not from building. I tried to knock down my buildings and rebuild ... no exp points. I am literally stuck. Please I am begging someone to fix my game, as I want to keep testing! I have been testing since before they offered gifts. I find it not fair that I have been waiting and waiting and wasting valuable time. I found a glitch to be fixed in the game, yet nothing has been or said about it.
I think I deserve to have someone recognize what I am saying and actually tell me!!!! I am not the only one who is stuck on level 4.
What can I do or say, or who can I talk to that will do something for us! I love this game, you (the Team and makers) seem to really care like no other games I have played. This IS the best of all games I have ever played. Mod's care, the people who make this game care, please someone take time out to answer some of us who feel left out in the cold. I understand everyone is busy. Just take out some time and talk to me/us.

Hey, i like the features on the test server, they run pretty smoothly and havent had any problems waiting/refreshing didnt solve. Tutorial is a little overboard but nobody should have to ask about basics anymore, thats for sure. Only this is, i didnt get a "reward" for doing monday's event, or the one before it. Typed in the voucher code and nothing happened on my acct. Not a huge deal but i DO like prizes ;) thanks for your time

It would be nice to get that 2nd prize we were supposed to get from logging in. There are a ton of people that havent gotten it even though they have entered the code correctly including me. I would really love the fish deposit so I can refill my fish spot without having to use the bread i am saving for settlers

I too have not gotten my second prize. Any idea as to when this will be fixed?

Server running a lot better now and easier to log in. I too did not get Mondays reward after entering the voucher code.

I also have not received the reward after enter the voucher code. As for the new features - they are good to great, except for the trade screen. The filter portion is great being able to eliminate certain trades that do not interest me. The issue comes with the scrolling of trades. If a trade runs out of time, is disappears and you automatically return to the top of the scroll. If there are several trades that running off, you never can scroll down to see anything but the first 9 trades. Also, when you try to accept a trade, and your screen returns, the trade tends to falter and fail.

Seems unbalanced to offer prizes to those who manage to get into the test server somehow, but nothing to all those who try and try and try to no avail. Perhaps you can keep track of those who attempt in good faith to participate but due to shortfalls in capacity cannot do so. Then provide a reasonable award to those who never got in for a phase.

Had a hard time getting on but it is a great game. I like that you can adjust and move the buildings around to set up your town. hope that this feature is incorporated into the regular game. There are some in my guild didn't understand how to set up the town and it is a confusing mess. Now that they see the problems it would be good to be able to fix up their town. The only real problem with this game is that it is to addicting. lol!!

The new features are extremely helpful for a new player. I only started playing recently and features like this would have helped in the initial build. Although things are a little slow, I find that I am building better and stronger here but holding back a bit to keep within the quests since I feel it would be more beneficial to the test to keep it that way. I like the trade changes and the economic window, it really helps to know whether you have built enough to keep up the production you need as long as you figure in the lag time. Thank you for allowing me to participate in the test!

So difficult to get on the servers during normal hours. I wish the voucher did not expire because by the time I get back on the server, the expiration date has already passed. Frustrating. But the new features will make the game play better.

I cannot get it to log me back in with my facebook account?

I like it, but can't get beyond the perfect chain quest. I don't know what to do at this point, but tear down and rebuild.

This is my first experience with the testing server. The tutorial is quite effective and helpful to establish a base for the strategy needed to build a successful game. The only quest that occasionally seemed overwhelming were the trade quests with 3 or 4 items that needed to be traded in high quantities when I really needed to save those resources to upgrade resources. The Economy icon is awesome! and also helps to reiterate the strategy of the game. This is a very helpful tool that makes it more difficult for the player to find themselves in tight spot later with low resources and 0 building licenses.
I'm not as pleased with the new trading system. I miss having a trade and accepting as many resources as I need instead of setting up a trade multiple times in the free space - it could be that I missed something in the tutorial about this. Another thing that is rather obnoxious is the constant refresh of the trading list. I always trade with specific items in mind, but with the auto refresh as soon as I find the trade I want I lose it before I can click on it and have to fight with the system a few times before I can click the trade I need.
With that criticism aside I need to praise you folks for developing the greatest free game online! The graphics are spectacular, the art designs at log in that change with the season are great, and the many events (Easter, Euro Cup etc.) that offer a break in the regular game. I've been playing for almost a year and am very impressed with everything you offer and the fact that you care to let us help you improve the game. THANK YOU!

I too have had difficulty in logging into the game...all I can say is keep trying.

I also put in the voucher code and never received the prize. I received it on the 13th, imputed it; it says the code was accepted but no prize.

building the 3 noble residences quest faltered and quit on the last residence...quest is still sitting there showing no residences built.

I've posted this twice before in the forums. I cannot progress beyond level 4. I don't get any credit for clicking on pinewood in the economy overview. I can't progress in the game until I complete the quest.

I have a couple of issues with the new trade system. The bar constantly moving on it's own make it very hard to click on a trade and when doing search the word vanishing is aggravating. Even if it's an auto search type function it's rather annoying. Other than that I'm liking everything.

I think calling these items we get for testing "rewards" is a little lacking. A reward is something of value to the player and I personally think the cheese sandwich, fish food and 100 brew is quite a bit below what I would deem valuable.

do not like how the new trading system auto updates and then automatically scrolls you to the top each time it autorefreshes... make looking for trades extremely difficult. also, the "search" feature in the trading system does not seem to work for me, it does not pull up only "bread" trades for example, and when it does pull something up, its not limited to what i searched for, then auto refreshes back to everything... i think the existing trading system is better - all you'd need to do is remove the 400 unit limit....

ditto, i didn't receive the reward either from the aug 13 code.....

I would like to agree that, in general, the test game is much better. I like the combat sim and the production tree. I do not like the instant refresh on the trade area. It makes it difficult to complete a trade since your selected trade keeps moving.

the test server is nice and these improvements for the most part are really nice. It will be harder for the older players to get use to them then the newer ones that have not known the easier earlier stages. I agree some of the quest are a little confusing and need more explanation. The empty air, with the bows, needs to be different, cause if they don't wait to get credit for putting the 2 lots of 50 bows from star into the mayors house, before building the 10 bowman you have to wait and trade or build up the bows again. Also need to change the Halve the Specialist time most will have used thier gems before realising that they need them for that, and made clear just how to use it. Trade window is going to be the biggest problem, unless they figure out to but the newer trades on top and filter out all accept the items they are looking for, it scrolls far to fast for a person to get a good look at it and to click the bid. over all it is excellent and the older players and new will find it a challenge, something that is needed to hold every ones interest. thank you all for continuing the work and improvements on the game.

It's taking too long to get logged onto the test server.

Just got on today. Love the new economy and trade menu's. Like that we can move building too. Great advancements to the game.

love the economy overview and the ability to move buildings-can't wait for them to be added on regular server!! trade system is nice but the auto refresh or whatever makes it difficult to look through the trades without loads of frustration lol

Started to have a great time, but got stuck in level 4 because I max out on fir wood. Also, never did receive my rewards.

I had been trying to get on the test server since Saturday. I finally got on yesterday and I just loved it! I like the economy overview and the ability to move buildings. I hope it will be as easy and reasonable in th real game to move stuff arounds as it was on the test server.

I did notice one thing though on the test server, geos can find stone deposits in half the time as the geos on the real game (2 minutes on test server compared to 4 minutes on real game). Are those geos on the test server the Jolly geos you buy on the real game?

Overall, I really enjoyed getting to particpate.

I like the features on the test server, and would like to see some if not most implemented on the regular server. Only thing I don't like about the test server is the constant reset of the position in the trading part. As I'm scrolling to see what other offers are there, it keeps sending me to the top of the list when someone adds a new offer. I would rather be in charge of when it refreshes so I don't have to keep scrolling past things I've already seen just to get to the offer I want to accept.

Got voucher codes, and submitted. But still no rewards to my regular account.

The trade on the test server is great except for the constant refresh that it does...I get somewhat scrolled down and then it pops back up to the top again and I can never really see whats on trade unless I hold the scroll bar down, but if I let it go to click a trade...poof...back up to the top it goes again..most of the time before I can actually click on the item that I was wanting to purchase...please fix that before putting it in the game...

I don't think the new trading system is an improvement. Keep it simple.
