Intercepted Generals can no longer Retreat?!

*BASED ON REPLIES IT MAY HAVE JUST BEEN A BUG ON MY END, OR BASED ON POST MAINTENANCE BUGS BEFORE THE EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN*


I had a general get intercepted on a bad advanced block;

the game showed the advanced block working. the witch tower in that sector fell. then the screen jumped and all of a sudden the other camp next to the witch tower is gone, the witch tower is re-engaged and the general attacking that camp loses. wtf?

not a huge deal, i have other troops to send and materials to rebuild. now to the point...

in discussing this with a friend he said that it wasn't a bug, it was a "fixed bug" and that intercepted generals no longer can be retreated. He had an issue with this and petitioned it to support. They told him that intercepted generals were no longer able to retreat.

IS THIS TRUE? if so, then this leaves no margin of error for pathing, advanced blocks, or experimentation. shitty thing to "fix" aka BREAK when you have so many other bugs in the game that need fixing.

i literally did this last night on nords... so idk what you're talking about, i ALWAYS refresh before blocking and immediate postbattle retreating... So just bad luck and lag bud :l

were you by yourslef or with a buddy? i get all kinds of glitches when playing with a buddy, the other day i didnt see her genies move at all.
what are you bloking in nords if you dont mind me asking

freaking testers better test adventures instead of building gem pits

sector 4 u can block the camp by the leaders. saves 30 recruits or so

On nords you no longer have to hit the 2nd to last camp, the one with the Valkeries. Just hit the leader

the glitches while playing with buddy getting ridiculous, we had troops not getting loaded, armies not being recalled. my buddy lost all her leet troops on silly blok in the begining of bk because troops didnt add to the army after she pressed ok. imo bb should refund whole army in cases like this, not just weapons but already trained troops, cause it takes days to build horses and elits. as soon as i invite second person the whole thing goes to hell

imo if its a mmo game there should be posibility to do stuff with other ppl, if i wanted to build and trade id go and play patrician or something

OK, i'm very glad that it was either just me... or bugs starting to creep in from post maintenance BS (before the emergency shutdown for maintenance). I woulda been super annoyed if this was a true case of BB "fixing"(aka breaking) another feature.
