Well I'm sure most of us are experienced MMO players of all sorts, so we should all know that this kind of thing will happen from time to time, especially in a game that is still beta.
It is a little discouraging not to be getting feedback on what's going on though, but it's Sunday and maybe being Sunday they don't have the required staff to post updates on what's going on.
so i haven't been able to login in days hope something is done to make up for all my resources going dry, and losing my consistent login bonuses.
Addding my name to the list. Got booted while in an adventure and now cant get back in. Hope they fix this quick!
this is my first MMO that i havent quit in 30mins of playing, this world of gaming is new to me, and ik stuff like this happens, but dam the inconvience!!!
Well it’s been way over one hour without any word so let me carp on this subject also:
It can be no question that this supposed "FREE" game is a real money maker!
People pay real money for gems and for the providers of The Settlers Online to not have telephone support that is available 24/7 is beyond benign neglect of their customers...
Let's face it we keep coming back for more abuse and making excuses for Ubisoft doesn't help make this a better game or improve support of their games' Players!
Just like the drug companies with their new medications, the current corporate gaming industry thinking is to ride a new game for all it's worth and then come up with something new again to make money on instead of actually investing in what it takes to make a long lasting platform to support long-term Players.
As long as we tolerate such greedy behavior there will be no incentive to change the gaming industry’s profit model. Perhaps it’s time to begin thinking about open-sourced alternatives if we cannot get what we do actually pay for with real money even if they want to call it “FREE.”
