Economy Overview

I know you get a lot of " Ramble Ramble Ramble... this sucks.... Ramble Ramble Ramble... your wrong that sucks.... you are all idiots those suck" so i would like to take the time to say hey good job....

Now I challenge any TSO player to come up with the values for the resources so all of us lazy players can skip the basic high school algebra and go back to looking at cats on the internet. Here's what you have to do ...

figure out what the values for these things are in terms of 12/hrs which is what economy overview shows. I put up everything i know... If you want to help out and fill in the rest it would be cool... I know placement of the building to storehouse messes with the numbers... try to get as close as you can. Why just do level 1 you ask... because if you want to know what it is at level 3 just do level 1 times 3...

True after playing with it for a while i found an easy way to find this out... except for stuff i dont make that is...

Haha easy read just a lot of red and green numbers. Red means bad :P but do not frett it is usually covered in daily trading ritua.

I just want to thank BB Developers for a very well made and efficient Economy Overview. It is so easy to use, but at the same time gives a wealth of information. Well done!

It doesn't understand upgrading as far as I can tell.

Green means a resource is accumulating - how is that bad?

I'm confused. This looks only like a prediction, not something to help me manage how many of each building I need.

It's not a prediction, it's a mathematical calculation of what your island is producing right now, for a 12 hour time period. So if you see that you're running a deficit on coal, you could look at your fir wood log production to see if it would support another coker. If you looked at the actual cokers you have already, you could see how many fwl they consume in a 12 hour period & then see if you have that much excess fwl. If you do, build another coker. If you don't, you might have to do something with your coal mines, or build another fwl chain.

wow that is some strange reasoning. i like green because that means I am building an excess of something I can then trade to acquire something I am red in. Like I am green with HW Logs and I trade those for water.

I like how you can drill right down to the actual buildings and see at a glance which ones still need to be leveled up, oh and you can click on the building and it takes you right to that building on your island.

Yeah, I can't imagine having 310k storage space and running everything at a deficit. Sorta defeats the purpose of "storage" lol

If you drill down to individual buildings, you can find which buildings are the most in need of moving; rearranging watermills brought me up 1k per 12hrs with no major costs. My worst lvl 5 bakery is 885, best is 1058; I may move the worst one.

everybody in general seems to love this new tool, and it "can be" helpful, or detrimental imao

one poster noticed he had missed upgrading a building, so it helped to pinpoint how many buildings you have, and their status

on the other hand, some of us (me ;)) intentionally run a shortage for a certain building type, in my case, pine wood cutters

so i worry that everyone wants to become totally self-sufficient, instead of creating an economy of their own, where, say,
yes i run short on pine wood, but know I make extra bread.

And the biggie about the economy is yet to hit home: all new players are being directed to Ares server, so us guys on Zeus will
be higher level, and have different needs( granite anyone ;) Meanwhile all the "noobs" on Ares, they just want a few more stones and stuff.

it's a great tool, but don't read too much into it, you probably already knew where you run short and over
