Be assured that when PVP starts you will deffinantly be at the mercy of my troops........cost be damned haha it is those type of remarks that make PVP servers so much fun. You wont find a single person in this game that has anything cross to say about me Ninjet because i play honorably and i have given freely to those that ask or need a little extra help because i CHOOSE to. however I only started playing here because it was listed in the war games section of whatever search i did after winning victory in Grepolis with my alliance mates and was in search of something new. It will be an honor once again to make such battles and rest assured if we are allowed to battle, I will pay you a vist as often as im allowed.

PS. My rants were to BB and the Dev's until you chose this arguement so don't crap if your scared to step in it.

everything will be taken I had Dark Knight I just bought all the gold I had traded everything it is pathetic and unprofessional that they have to roll back I have worked in I.T. for 17 years and never seen anything like this with roll backs it shows clearly the game is not ready to be made public and should still be just in Alpha Stage....

all these problems are made from greed and immature game release time......

I would rather have the rollback then a bunch of unbuffed gold mines and the hour of my time it would take to put everything right.

Totally Agree Shondo, This is crazy as my island is running amuck and i can't change it. I have been considering moving to a new game that some friends are playing and if this sever just brushes of this crash i think it will be goodbye and done with BB...Considering the amount of REAL money i spend on this game it should be interesting to see how they treat this problem

Well, If they do, Kinda sucks when your trying to make Troops and Upgrade Buildings to level 5 that takes 7 days AND... That you've used BUFFS already in the morning! So ill be losing lots of Resources... No Doubt about that...If i knew before hand... I wouldn't of used any buffs..... But now all the buffs I used were gone to a waste because of them shutting the Zeus server down for a day and doing the Roll Back.

Pvp on TSO would be absolutely retarded and based solely on how many years you've devoted to playing this game...Go play StarCraft and see how well your "PvP" skills test in a REAL PvP game...If anything counts for how big your cojones is for this game, PvP wouldn't settle anything anyways. It would a stupid waste of your angry nerdy rage since it would require absolutely no skill at all. So why does everybody have this "When PvP comes out ill kill you" mentality. Lol, that would even more boring to do than watch your lvl 5's upgrade....I hardly consider this game for people who want to kill others...Go play CoD MW3 or Command & Conquer. A server rollback is a horrible idea though. If you look at it, BB has said that most people were able to log in and play and the persistent problems were with a minority of people.

Rolling back the server will hurt EVERYONE. So in essence BB is hurting EVERYONE to fix a few. There really has to be another way of fixing things.

Not as much you as the people who think that a PvP server would make you feel more like a badazz somehow. Even if you could, could you imagine how retarded it would be? It would be something like a lone island where both players send their gens. Then all the strategy would be in mixing up your troops >.> super lame

Whitegoblin, I assume that your pvp remark was referring to my post on pvp since Ninjet is certainly now (Bro) so once again i will attempt to clear the air. I prefer PVP and have played many such pvp based games. i do enjoy it and it is why i came here becasue it was on the list of WAR GAMES in my search. However i do understand why some of you complain about it possibly becoming a pvp game because right now you have nothing to lose that BB don't take for themselves. I on the other hand prefer to have something at stake, it makes all accomplishments worth acheiving when something worth wild is on the line. there is no excitement in watching buildings upgrade and very little ecitement in any of the adventures since you must run the same crap over and over to level up anyway.

Now for your information i have no anger or ego that i am here to fulfill. I dont like to play games against a computer and i dont play games without some sort of reward. PVP offers that because if you could battle and empty someones warehouses or take their islands then that would be a reward worth playing and you would have to continue to do so so that you could continue to grow stronger so the same could not be done to you or at least to make it harder for the player that decides to come visit. Its all about preferance and nothing to do with anger and ego's. The auction that the PLAYERS set up here was the most excitement in the game since i joined because once you posted something you never really knew what it would bring.....thats cool and all, BUT it's a real pity that the players of the game play so often and are so loyal to the game itself that THEY have to be the once to bring that excitement to the game we all play. Im in favor of pvp for that reason. Nothing wrong with adding a little true strategy to the game we all play. If they were to allow islands to be taken and mine was the first to go, i would be the first toi commend the player that took it. You would not see me bowing at his feet begging for it back. instead i would start over or find something new. For all of you out there that is scared of this I find myself wondering what things in real life you miss out on everyday because you are too scared to make the wager or sacrifice, what jobs you could have had if only you had applied, what girls you could have gone out with if only you had asked, what sports you could have dominated if only you had played, and the list goes on and on.......i'm not here to prove anything to you, them or myself. Im here because I and up for whatever comes my way and when it does I will do my best and if i fail well it wont be the first time but it also wont be for the lack of a good fight......all worth wild things if you ask me

upside...with server being down for so long gives players time and reason to go check out some other games..because we will all get shafted at the "rollback" and might just have cause not to play for awhile..really settlers is just a notch above the facebook games which are truely "free to play".. did ubi just sell their name to stick on this game..not like ubi to be involved with something of this quality

Im sorry dood way too long to wanna read it all, but i skimmed thru and i agree this game is a great waste of time. But i dont see why people dedicate guilds and anticipate pvp like it would be something where you could just destroy someone else's island or something. I bet if they put pvp into this game it would be on a separate island with either a wager or a prize. hardly something like sending armies over to other people's islands and such. Although that could make the game more entertaining, it would be almost impossible to pull off in a browser game. I mean just brag about how big your gold chain is lol thats all i'm saying. That's really the only way your better than someone else (besides level). Funnest part of the game is giving away stuff.

I'm sure we'll get some great goodies from BlueByte after the server is back on, but we should accept them as a gift, not as "compensation" that we are owed for losing our playtime or playthings. Yeah, I lost an adventure too, but I'm not too stressed. I think I will actually read a book tonight and contemplate what my life was like before Settlers... mmm :)

ok so if you went and bought an xbox and a bunch of games and fancy stuff for it and then you get a message every 2-3 months that says "huh, well you cant play. we dont know why, but you cant play and now we are going to break 3 of your games you just bought 2 days ago and not pay you back for them and you are going to like it because we can do what ever the eff we want cuz we are a corporation. have a nice day sucker. we will talk to you again in a couple of months." that is what is happening right now and why so many are mad.

There's something you need to realize. Just because someone has a different opinion/viewpoint does not make their opinion/viewpoint wrong. You need to realize that your point of view is unique as is everyone else's and if you need to insist that people start "understanding that it's just a game" then you need to realize what a game really is and why it matters to other people.

Having said that, I believe that BB wants to keep their players happy and wants to fix the problems as best they can with the least hardships possible and that we have to be patient. I am pissed off that they have decided to roll back the server because that fix will fix the problem of the few while creating great hardships and frustrations for EVERYONE! The only reason I would go along with that is if BB had no other alternative, and I would need to believe they had no other alternative.

Why do I picture you as the type of person who throttles the other team's coach for a little league game because your team lost? Just think. you invest all that time and effort in training and practicing and they just go and lose. clearly it's not your fault that they lost, the other team must have cheated. the ref's blind. any excuse that makes it not your fault. And why? Because you refuse to accept it's just a game. but you haven't explained what you mean by it's just a game! Essentially your entire post was a repeat of the "it's just a game" meme without answering any of the questions I asked or countering any of the points I made.

BTW, if you knew me you would know I am one of the calmest and most rational people out there. I don't anger easily, far from it. I've even been accused of being too nice and too forgiving. You should also read some of my other posts on this topic before making snap judgements.

Well this might be it for me with this game. No PVP still and now this! I was semi-quit from the game but I still logged on when I could. I am tired of waiting for PVP, tired of annoying bugs and now a "rollback". A "rollback" could mean anything and clearly Ubisoft is not elaborating on this action. Rollback to what point in the game??? Rollback to when I was level 23, 33, 43? When? Rollback to a point in the game when I used 20k granite to upgrade to lvl 5s? Utter nonsense to say the least. I want a refund from all of my money spent on gems since I started playing.....call it a "rollback refund"!

When I am a dissatisfied consumer, I simply stop buying that product and switch to another. When I receive poor customer service, I simply switch to another company providing better customer service. This is unacceptable...time to switch.
