Dear Ma'am/Sir,
When Senatry as a game crashed for 32 hours last year, it lost a lot of popularity, but those who stuck around were given a bonus for the lost time. Perhaps you could post a voucher for 100 diamonds on the main login page and leave it there for 48 hours once the maintenance is done. That would be an ample reward for the player's patience and loyalty. What say you? ;)

I agree with you Knight, but I seriously doubt they will do anything. I wonder how far back they plan on going with their rollback. My game worked perfectly up until they took the server down today for emergency maintenance.
That won't even come close to compensation should they roll back significant progress. You will have not only lost progress but lost production and people may or may not lose levels, materials, buildings, adventures. etc.. 100 gems may be enough for you, but they should at least make an attempt at making things whole.
what about those who may have lost ALOT more than 100gems and upgraded buildings, and geos and veterans you buy with those gems.... 100 gems isnt enough to re-coup for the damage this has caused for alot of us. maybe they should take that into consideration.Quote:

After the easter event FAIL! They blamed wascally wabbits, but the compensation was fairly significant. Several rabbits feet (4x 48hr buff), coins, and other wonderful gifts.
I'd hope to see some significant rewards again -- like a witch tower or recycler, some Red Flying Settlers, granite, and maybe a Nords.
i will have lost the money i spent on gems yesterday, the jolly geo i bought and the vet, as well as all upgraded buildings and the army i just rebuilt after my adventure yesterday. so yea, its alil more than just time i will lose, but thanks anywaysQuote:

Dont know what game you are playing but there are no diamonds in settlers online. A voucher for 100 gems is like being spat on. BB better think this one through clear and come up with the right compensation for this mess they have created.Quote:

Hell no rollback please! I'd hate this game if rollback happens. There will never be enough compensation honestly, and really you should backup the game frequently, CEO.
And 100 gems is not a significant compensation, if they ever make it. Time and interest are more valuable, if they rolled back the game for a week (a month is absolutely bad), they would have to make a much better compensation.

Yeah, me too. I bought another 4800 yesterday and upgraded a bunch of bldgs and mines. I am also in the middle of an adventure as well and was rebuilding my army. This really sucks big time! Would be nice if they could check the logs and give us back what we had. Don't know how they'd do that tho...

Rollback the entire game for Everyone because a Small Percentage of ppl couldn't login? To fix the problem for the few without affecting the whole would have been preferable. News flash bulletin, this is NOT a new problem. A member of my guild was shut out of her account for days a few weeks back - identical issue. They remedied the problem without a rollback then. Is there really no other way?
When I think of the progress I made just in this last week alone - the advs I did, the loot I received, the upgrades I did, almost having levelled and now have to do everything over again?!? Will I get the same advs? Will I get the same loot? Will I sustain the same losses? Roll back 1 week to a month - seriously?
Very disappointing. The first thing I learned about computers is to always ALWAYS make a backup and frequently. We are reassured that we'll only lose our time, nothing more. Excuse me but my time is worth something to me. How much is my time moreover my loyalty, worth to BB? We shall see...
If we go back 1 week i expect 22000 gems and all of my generals replaced then i will stay forever or until a massive linch mob full of pissed off adults that have sunk alot of money into this tears there building down lol gwahahahahahahahahah Aries711

Good luck with compensation. It took me 2 weeks to resolve an issue, they could care less, as demonstarted by these repeated outages. This is complete BS!
I was not having any problems at all ,sever was working great as was the cases with all members of my guild.After reading some of the post here sounds like many of us that were having no problems stand to lose quite a bit.This will seriously affect how much my guild will spend on this game from now on.

I just spent REAL money on this game this week...if i lose it, or the time i spent on this game this week...i WILL be incredibly vocal about it...EVRYWHERE!!!
emsjeff, if you have valid proof of wht happened they compensate you quickly.... just the other day i had a problem with it charging me double wht something was worth... took 1 day for them to get back to me and a direct whisper to a bb but i was compensated in the end
ya well i spent over $35 in gems this week alone, cleared my island and upgraded a great many things...i sure hope they compensate...i am sure my bank records and emails are confirmation enough to prove it!
AND I agree 100 gems would be an insult.

well if you bought gems and then they do a roll back you lose those gems. but still have to pay for them because they charged your CC. So yeah that's something "lost"
