Rollback the Rim to Win????

I was just wondering how much staff works for thesettlersonline and how many actually pay attention to what goes on with there servers in the first place why isnt there watch dogs seeing whats going on here? You know you have drastic problems here daily is there no way to stop this from happening over and over again and when are players GOING TO START A COMPLAINT FORM about all the problems with this game! Because I wont spend another dime until they fix this game and I belive there are many who are going to stop putting money to this game as of this rollback. Please fix the problem find a solution fast because you have alot of people getting angry with this game and I can see alot more problems headed your way because of this rollback ~ Source

LOL BRO!!! YA!!! what i want to know, is why we cant switch over to the other server with our same account! i mean if nothings wrong with that one why not tranfers it all over there! i am sure there are alot of inactive people they could go through and clean out to make room :P

apparently aries server dont have half as many players as zeus and is running smooth............ i think you have a good point Scythe!

How can we not this has been this way for the last month and everyones accounts has been messed with I was missing 100 granite the other day today I log on and see one of the Duckies complaining about missing 400gc something is majorly wrong with this situation we all Know people are buying gems with real money so why cant they hire staff to deal with situations like these. We know its about profit to these people so if we get the gem buyers to stop buying and force this game into SUBMISSION for its unruly behavior maybe we can send a small message to the developers to stop being so **** lazy ~ Source

Interesting that one of Ubisofts previous products Shadowbane died from constant server stability issues that made the game impossible to play. I am wondering if this will be a repeat.

if they go back a full month its not worth my time, i (and i am sure many many others) will just find a more reliable game to spend our hobby time on

Same.. there are enough more stable games out there we all can spend our money and time on. Crashes, issues and other things happen but never to this extend in a slow-paced game like this. The staff should have been more carefull and watchfull, these kind of problems and the lack of communication will kill this game. There hasn't been an update on the situation in hours, no info, no eta. I urge the gem-buyers not to spend any money the following few weeks/months just as a statement towards UBI soft that this kind of support/stability is unacceptable.

Im a fairly patient individual, but this is getting ridiculous. Even if they aren't working around the clock as they claim to be, they have had ample time to get at least 2 FULL 8-hours shifts in, I know because I have. Yesterday when it went down I thought "No big deal **** happens. They'll get it up and running in no time." I went to work, came home and tried logging in......still nothing. "O.K. things take time, Im an understanding guy. Again, no big deal, I'll read a book and turn in early. I'm spending too much time on the computer anyways, lol." This morning....still nothing. "Getting a little irritated, but ranting and raving won't fix things. I'll get home from work tonite and all will be well. They will have had 2 DAYS to fix it." Well, here I am.....where are you BlueByte?? Enough is enough. The last game I played, Clash of Kingdoms, I played for 2-years and their Servers only went down unscheduled ONCE, and that was for about 3-4 hrs and that was only a few weeks after they went to Open-Beta and were still working a few small things out. After that....nothing. 2 days, and probably more is just inexcusable.

I'm sorry to anyone who gets Gems from me, but I'm out. They've gotten their last dime from me. Don't read this as a threat, just a simple statement of facts. Tomorrow I have the day off work and if the Server isn't up I'm not waiting around any longer. I'm finding a new Game. T.S.O. we've had a good run and wish it could've been longer, but my patience, while ample, is finite.

To all my friends in IRISH it's been real and hopefully I'll see you all tomorrow. If not, then if nothing special catches my fancy, I'll check in on Settlers later.

If the UBI soft team doesn't make a roll back to within a couple hours of when the server was originally scheduled to go up Thursday morning then they are virtually guaranteed to lose at least 30-40% of their player base because no one in their right mind wants to pick up where they left off 2 weeks ago...

2 weeks!!! I'm only level 22 or 23. That will be like me starting all over again!!! Ye, I have put money into this game, had I known this crap was going to happen, then no of course i wouldn't. i wonder if they will refund your gems 0.0 If not I may give mine away as gifts and start a new game. Any recommendations?

Hey gang! LadyA and I just checking in on the forums to see WTF is up with server. I to am quite irritated by this ridiculous waiting to find out what the problem is. In addition to all other problems LadyA was not abe to post because BB has not seen fit in 8 months of her playing to allow her permission to post on the forums. I havent decided on another game yet. Will let you guys know what it is when I find out. Will be calling IG and Stephen later today after we wake up. Hope you are all well... Missing ya guys..

How sad for all of you who have spent money on this game. Remember that it is or was a play for free game, but if you did not have the patience to acquire gems, then there was the opportunity to buy them. It's been almost two days since the Zeus server was playable. I've played other games similar to this, and I must report that I cannot remember a server that was down this long. It makes me wonder if there are more problems than what are being reported publicly.

Can't believe how long the outage is going on for. This showcases either a lack of technical competence on their part (to understand the issue or to complete proper testing) or a lack of interest in fixing it--and subsequently a lack of interest in their customers.

They lose their profit if they give us gem pits. Who would need to buy gems after that?

It will also create a greater gap between existing and new players, who would not receive 20k gems.

If you think they don't care about fixing this, you're forgetting that as long a Zeus is down, no one on Zeus is buying gems.

Honestly I am furious...I have put in a complaint to them...I am giving the mods and admin a week to reply to my complaint that has already been put in a week ago to respond, it will be the 2nd complaint not responded to. If they do not even respond the gem pit that I bought will be reversed from my side and they can have the unspent gems back. I havent spent 1 of the 6k gems I earned from the gem pit so I wont be getting one over on them and I will full out quit. I lost over 4k gold coins. That is just talking gold coins. Think of everything else I have lost. The rollback was the WORST idea I have EVER heard of. I can understand issues. Yet they caused MANY more issues rolling the game back then they did when they game was down for 2 days. I can understand being in beta...but they have been in beta for over a year now. I have played many beta games and I have never been this disappointed. NEVER!!! And I played a game that had only 2 admins that was in Beta. I put in thousands to that game. NEVER did I experiance issues to this extent, even in the first 6 months. They need to do something big to fix the problems, not just leave people in the dark and not do anything about the chaos that they have caused. Nor is this the time to ignore the complaints which they have done. I am a very loyal gamer when I find a game, yet this has gotten ridiculous. The shut down for 2 days made me mad, the rollback might have lost them tons of money by me if I keep getting ignored.
