What will are compensation be?

Hard to say what it should be just yet as we do not know how long it will be down and not less when they bring it some players do not play on the weekend and will lose out on Advs they have started or mines that they normal have sleeping so there is alot that can be lost unless they sleep everyone island until they get back online when they do get it fixed but even then you lose out on the 36 hour buff that you may have paid for or traded for, but it would be a better place to start then losing months of work in the game. Just my 2 cents

5k still not enough, talking enough for a copper mine or gem pit... 2 days down plus a rollback? SERIOUS COMPENSATION or a lot of serious players will probably leave causing them to have made a giant loss

Full storehouses to all players on all but the expert items, 5k gems, 1 gem pit. Most players would consider this a good compensation, some players maybe did pay more $ during the rollback periode, these should be given the option of contact the supportteam and either get $ refund or more gems.

I think that 5k gems is pretty good and generous, but there are other online games to play guys, not trying to be annoying but ,really, its a game they will probably do something, like giving away gems as u said but we could play TF2 or other games not end of the world.( restocking wheat fields for us would be cool, Just sayin). :)

Think about it....a rollback means they have to do a system restore of before this all happened. Depending on what you had going on, it will be like deja vu. Everyone will have to repeat the last days or weeks worth of things they have done. This may mean you have lost a level or an adventure. IMO that is a serious pain in the rump to everyone who will be repeating things they have already done. A rollback in this game is not the same as a rollback in price at the grocery store...a rollback is a BAD THING! And who knows, aside from everyone's island being in a shambles when the game comes back up, there could be missing things in the star menu, storehouses or everyone's gold mines will be depleted and I for one don't even want to entertain that notion.

Gems cannot pay back the time i have invested and all the goods i traded and sold.
I had 35-40 hours in the game from Sunday till today when it crashed.

Uh... don't think so.. it would cost me over 48K in gems to upgrade the 24 lvl 4 buildings that were rolled back to lvl 3 - even with a gem sale as suggested above, that would put me back $100. Not happening - EVER.

Not one more gem purchase in this game until what I lost is restored. Sorry BB...

I estimate my losses at 17k gems - but you figure that since some of that was simply due to time it's more like 12K gems....not including my time which I bill at 150 per hour.....you figure 2-3 hours per day ave....and I wonder how many people they've lost and then will lose when the compensation turns out to be less than what many expect.....

Hope they figure things out soon, cuz I'm not spending anything on gems til is fixed.... even though I have peeps really wanting things....and have lost atleast the most recent purchase of 24K gems from just before the rollback... grrrr... hoping to see something back soon!

And therein lies the problem with the F2P model that is becoming so popular. It's become an excuse for companies to not support their own product, or satisfy their player base, regardless of revenues from the "free" game.

Going back to pay to play games personally, would rather spend a few bucks on something with server support. To each their own.

I agree Zuma. I just want people to wait for a response. We know there has to be one at some point. It doesn't matter though, we are all gonna get screwed eventually. This just reminds me to go do it in a game where I am paying to play instead of a free game.

I agree. Now is the time to be patient.
They are working all out to resolve these issues and nagging them and filing 10 tickets each only makes it worse.
I trust BB will make it right.
Just chill and play the game.
Take the time to make a list of all you think you may have lost.
Let them sort the tech issues first for those who can't even log in.
