I think know where the failure here is.....
I just calculated something. I always keep my unused settler count VERY low.....usually around 1 or 2. When my game came back on, it was at 150! So this was not just a "rollback", where everything would have been as it was in a moment in time. The server obviously ran for about a day and a half, and then was turned back on. This also explains how an adventure I was in the middle of was suddenly over, with the loss of many troops, and no reward for completion. The adventure should have been running with 1 enemy camp left, and reward well in sight. anyone from Ubisoft care to contradict my observation?
By the way, I have been in online games for many years, and a game judge in several, and I have never seen such a mess.
