I don't want to friend EVERYONE in this game just to be able to trade easier!!!! I give things away each & every day, you really think I'd like to wait 24 hours to help a new player out? Good job devs!

I'm done with my complaint, but thank you very much for killing the auctions. Once again good job devs!

new players should not have protection implemented like this IMHO

new players needa learn fast, not huddle in the corner w BB lookin over them

as already stated by QT this will kill the auctions, make it more of a PITA to help new players (the very people you are trying to 'protect' w this feature) and overall just slow down the exchange of goods from 1 player to another. good job BB, this just got more players concidering quitting *slow, sarcastic clap*

I think it boils down to their explained reasoning of protecting a limited number of new players versus the larger population being able to help other players through trade etc. Definitely will cause some to jump into guilds to be able to trade quicker.

If I was evaluating whether which of the above was more important to the overall game, I'd definitely say that the ability to help anyone at any time is much more valuable than protecting a few new players who already need to learn to look out for themselves as well.

It's a pretty simple concept developers, even for countries isn't it? Unless I'm missing something, doesn't making trading easier NOT more difficult between people encourage growth and therefore profits for all, including you?

This new trading system is going to kill this game you devs are a bunch of complete idiots

You all need to get off whatever drugs your on and get back to reality before making changes like this to a game

Watch and see how many gem buyers stop playing when this takes affect you just cost your company major profit

if they need protection base it on days ie (30 day lockout unless they remove it) not taking it out on all the older players

source does not want this system 24hrs for trade is bad idea!! Fast trading good idea.....24hr wait terrible idea

New players will just be ripped off 24 hours after they friend the person whom they were going to get ripped off by anyway. While I think this is coming from the right place, the implementation was not well thought out.

People are going to try and take advantage of each other on a regular basis. THIS is not the way to discourage those people, nor will it change that fact.

The best way to prevent it is to aggressively report and remove abusive players. Of course this is more manpower intensive on the part of the staff at BB, but it is the best way to go.

don't we have a system to protect newbies? isn't that what not being able to build a trade office right away is about!?

shutting down the social aspect of an in-game economy is just stupid! most of the people/friends ive made on TSO have been through auction and buying/selling on a 1-1 basis.

BB -- 'coddling' noobs will not attract more player/payers

this will help gem sellers not hurt them... they put gem items up in trade people buy them...

you can advertise what you want to buy if it is not in trade and see if you can have a gem seller put it in there... there is a work around for that no big deal..


the problem is LS... this ends LS except for in guild stuff..

here is a good solution to your problem...

make it so that the 24 hour thing only applies to players who are under level 30... if you have not figured the game out by then well it is only fair that natural selection takes all your resources because you are dumb...

You have gotta be friggin kidding me. What brain dead imbecile came up with this idea? Are you specifically TRYING to kill his game?

In all my years of gaming, I have never seen a worse change to game play that will completely and totally kill off your ENTIRE experienced player base in one shot as this one.

I certainly hope you all will reconsider, this will destroy so many aspects of this game.
