ok on new trade put that as a deal. obviously noone would want it unless they are getting something to go with it like a loot spot. This gets around the fact you cant trade with your new friend. However they can still "send" you the coins and you can invite them to the loot spot.Quote:

seems they want to detour the trade traffic to thet TT, which is fine with me i use TT alot and unless ur dumb u cannot be scammed through the TT, u never have to freind anyone and bulk deals can be put up so no harm no foul, all is well

Having played the game for over a year, I have learned to make it all work to enhance my gaming experience.
Hopefully we will put the system through it's paces and they will take our feedback to make it better.
Trade is the highlight of my game.
I found some exciting possibilities while testing this. I am gonna make some gold.
Unless and until we get this mythical thing called pvp...
Every new release is one release closer to the pvp.

The new trade system worked great on the test server. It handles the gem items (those that could be gifted, at any rate) so this should actually make it much easier and safer for gem buyers to convert items into gold coin. Bulk sales from auctions? Again, the new trade system can handle bulk goods - and with the added security of it being a trade transaction. Trade, as stated several times, can allow for the work around of LS sales, as long as they do not need to be on the friend list in order to get the LS invite. I did not try any buffs on the test server, so I cannot comment on how their sales actually work. Hopefully someone else can clarify that.
It seems this only hampers scams and charity. You want to be helpful to new players? Link them online tutorials, videos, or articles to educate them. Or hold open 4-5 guild spots to bring in new players, help them all you want, and then kick them out on the curb.
I think the only thing wrong with this new system is helping new peeps and loot spot. I think the best way to fix this problem is maybe adding loot spots to trade system then it wont really matter much if they are friends or not. The other issue with the 24 hour period is that most of us like tgo help nw peeps in game to enjoy and succeed in the game and eventually join your guild. I think by the time you hit lvl 17 and have the ability to trade you should have a clue on what you are doing. If you are unsure then watch and wait to see approx pricing. That is what I did.
I would have to say tho alot of this new stuff is because of so many peeps complaining about this and that that the solution to the problem gets put in place and no one likes it. the only thing it truely does affect is loot spots. I havent agreed with alot of the new changes that this game has had. When I started the game back in march it was actually challenging you have to actually think. Now it like castle empire for dumbies. Eco tab to tell you if you are making or losing. Combat preview to see if you ban win. Why dont they developers make more adventures concentrate on making higher lvls. Cause at lvl 50 all we have is loot spots and trade tab. Need to keep the people interested in the game. I am not seeing that anymore and have started playing other games. Just saying we need more lvls and adventure for the lvl 50 player and for the players trying to get to 50
IMO, everything about the new trading system sucks. I have been 'trying' to use it in the test game but it absolutely sucks crap!!! Another incredible and complete failure UBI :(
This is going to hurt new players far more than it will help.

As an experienced player, having more players on my list hurts my security by trying to get around the 24h limit by having anyone i might trade with already on my list.
As for lootspots - i will invite the player, then post a trade of 1 log for 1500gc on trade tab. If someone else takes that 1 log for 1500gc, i wont care, butits primary design will be for lootspot.
can we trade settlers please...
i have been preparing for this moment for a while... i have 37.5k settlers in my star ready to sell...
and i can't sell them...
Is this only for Zeus players because I'll switch to Ares if it is...

yep, what you are saying hits a cord with me, because I think I am finally free from this game, where I do 90% of my game time trading, but this new trade system has me going though hundreds of trades asking for gc, which I don't have and not much trading for needed materials, I think before when there is a cap of 400 units of any materials, means most ppl will do multiple trades with multiple players ( all strangers ) where as now, they can bulk trade and then leave, my specialty has been water, but now anyone wants 10k water will buy once and be done with it, especially if they have gems to convert to gc then they will be out of the trade system for the day maybe the week. So I will no longer have those customers willing to trade me 400 pine woods for 400 water or 400 wheat for 300 water, or 100 coal for 400 water etc. ( you get the idea ) so the trade game element is lost. I will continue to play the game for the next few days, and see how the new trade system shakes out. but after that I will relegate this game to alot of games I used to like where I log in once in a while to chat with friends I made in game

i am not enraged, but i am a bit upset that these changes didnt help a game that i have played for a long time and have spent real money to advance
Wanting to protect new players from extortion is indeed a noble thing, however the needs of the entire community should be considered as well. At this point in the game many of us are producing tens of thousands of resources a day. We also have needs of the same amount. These needs are met by many people on the marketplace and this 24 hour friend necessity impairs our ability to interact with people in the marketplace. This restriction does much more harm than it does good. New players are still prone to bad trades on the trade tab which is probably where many of them will go anyway. So the amount of good it does them is very minimal. Thank you for the new trade system, but please take this restriction off and let the marketplace function properly.
