Today I got an in-game mail with:
1000 gems
10 omniseeds
5 love potions
10 exotic baskets
1000 granite
1000 exo planks
500 settlers
I just want to say thank you to Ubisoft/BB for the generous compensation that goes well beyond my expectations. I'm one happy Moose right now :D

Figured things would get sorted out and care package exceeded expectations. Mostly I was just happy to be one of the few that was able to log in and so the care package was extra unexpected bonus.
I was suitably impressed with the compensation we receive and would like to thank Ubisoft/BB also.
Basically I was happy for the acknowledgement - the gifts were more than expected and I thank you for stepping up!
Packages in - 1000 gems + a whole lot more. Some people like me lost alot more than that , but Im happy they gave us something. Its a step in the right direction :)

Guess I'm eating my words on this one. I was wrong they did send care package. I felt the new trade system more then paid back for the roll back.

Still doesn't cover the damage in my opinion, although I can understand how it would feel that way for some. My central argument would be though, that giving everyone gems is the same as giving nobody gems since you gain no more advancement than your neighbor even though one person put in more time than the other. Giving these little care packages does not give back time. I have no reason to believe this won't happen again, so every advancement in the game I would just be thinking, boy I hope there isn't a roll back any time soon. Trust is what makes games like this work, and I simply don't have it anymore. All the best to those of you that are sticking around. As for me? /rage quit
