Hello, Settlers!

In celebration of our fantastic Halloween event, and as a more formal introduction for our new NPC, Eliot, we have prepared a new contest. First, let us introduce to you Eliot, the Pumpkin Master:

As a way of welcoming Eliot to The Settlers Online, we’ve decided to show him that our community embraces his favorite pose! In order to do so, you all are going to take pictures of yourselves (or a loved one) reproducing his stance.

Prizes
- 1st place: 4,000 gems
- 2nd place: 2,000 gems
- 3rd place: 1,000 gems
- The grand prize winner will receive a personalized title on the forum: "True Pumpkin Master"
Rules
- You must have one game account.
- Underage players must get their parent’s permission first.
- Do not use trademarked imagery from other games/IPs.
- If there are inappropriate pictures, please report them via the "report post" function.
- Participants agree that Blue Byte/Ubisoft is allowed to announce the winners and present their submitted pictures. Channels that may be used to announce the winners and show their work are the websites, forums, Facebook groups and Twitter channels of The Settlers Online.
Submission Guidelines
- Take a picture of yourself (or a friend/family member) reproducing Eliot’s pose. Try and be faithful to the original!
- You don’t have to wear a pumpkin on your head, although if you do…it’ll be a big boost to your "score!" (There is not an actual score, but it will help give you an edge.)
- You don’t have to wear a costume, but once again, it would be a plus.
- One picture/entry per person.

How to Enter
- Your photograph must be posted in the official submission thread.
- Any changes to your entry will not be taken into account, so please be sure that your picture is the final version.
- Only submissions that adhere to all the requirements above will have a chance to win.
The deadline is November 5th 2012, at 23:59 PST.

The Ubisoft/Blue Byte team will be choosing the three winners, and they will be announced on November 9th on the forums.

so far 4 entries qualify as actual poses. a cute kid, a guy falling, someone in costume, and a guy w/ a pumpkin on his head and an umbrella as a sword. points for creativity.

Here ya go, the first fat, old, and female Elliot. My sewing skills leave a lot to be desired, as evident by the "pants" I made. Ah well. At least the bracers were good. Shame you can't see the laces in them. Terribly old (and borrowed) camera. The shoulders got destroyed and sword got broken on Halloween.
