It might be, if it can be done at all, good to move x number of players from every level.
Perhaps offer an equal number of Ares players the option to move to Zeuss?
i think it should be an option between being able to move from zeuss to ares or vice versa
why move when it is the same game, sure you have to start over on ares but that is the fun of it.
I can understand if you have put money into zeus, and don't want to do it again, so just do ares with out the money.
I don't know that it would be really fair to transfer established players there. Ares is where new players are directed to go, so if all of a sudden a bunch of seasoned players with fully built islands appeared it'd mess with the economy and whatnot. I think it's fine to have experienced players start there from lvl1 like everyone else so their only advantage over others is their knowledge of the game, but a full transfer doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
having a mix of high and low players would be better for the game. i imagine most new players would love it if a few high levels started selling a lot of hardwood and marble making it cheaper for them to upgrade

Valid points and I did consider this.
Perhaps the mass migration would be fair if it were a set amount of players at various levels.
Admittedly, if I was the only one moved, or if only high level players were moved, that would be unfair.
However, a balanced amount of leveled players could be an asset to the new server by stimulating the economy and offering more options for cooperative play to the mass of low level players on Ares.
Not to mention that a group of low level volunteers could migrate over to Zeuss as well.
I am not really interested in starting from scratch and spending more money on gems on a new server.
I have an account on the Northisle server that I play without the luxury of purchased gems which allows me to play utilizing only my knowledge and experience from Zeuss.
