Missing Troops n Buffing

1) Missing Troops
I just finshed Horseback Adv, n before I clicked complete quest I regrouped the troops to my generals n then send them back. To my surprise when I got them back my crossbowmen n soldiers were missing? I should always have 250 crossbowmen n around 400 soldiers what happened? This is the second time that my troops have disappeared.
The first time I lost them without noticing, I thought I lost my troops while fighting the final boss, but somehow I got them back after a maintenance.

2) Buffing
I've noticed that my buffing doesn't work. Since the first day I've played 5~6 months ago buffing seems not to work for me. I found out when someone buffed my Marble n pumpkin fields. After the timer finished countdown, my pumkin n marble quantity did not double. Can't imagine how much resources I've lost n baskets wasted.
