New years Resolution
I want something real for humanity.. No one dies because of starving, no one killed especially kids and women, because of politics interests, no one suffer because lack of medicine or famine.. No war, no fight, no greediness, no bullying, no abusing, no selfishness, no more..... I just watched the movie yesterday "Rise of the Guardian" and wish the life like that for the kids.
from the game for myself dont know, if someone needs more than i or others do wish they win.

Richard sat around with his fellow islanders waiting to ring in the new year. It'd been a great year for them. They'd discovered and settled the island starting with their benevolent mayor and that mysterious person who guided them to build, conquer, and grow their little island. From a small settlement of less than 50 settlers they'd since grown to be able to house 15 hundred. They'd gained 3 deerstalker huts, 2 recycling plants, and a watermill. They'd also opened up a gem pit, found gold by the thousands and had rapidly moved into manufacturing gold coins. They'd defeated Wild Mary and freed their island from the bandits!
There was so much to celebrate. Even now with the clock counting down he was able to be thankful that his brewery would be able to run by itself for a few minutes without a warder, he could come and celebrate with his buddies. We've done so much this year, he thought to himself, how can we possibly top it next year? While he sat there sipping his brew waiting to do the clank of the brew mugs at midnight he had a sudden realization; if they got themselves a friary he wouldn't have to work so hard next year!
"That'll be my new years resolution." He declared loudly.
His buddies looked at him weirdly but didn't press the issue - they had their own resolutions that they weren't about to voice. Getting women on the island.
-
To make more gold this year.
-
my settlers resolution for 2013, is to no longer starve my settlers. i am upping their daily rations by 10% to a full 50% so not they are only barely starving! LOL
-
I resolve to find some more time to play the game, and get the daily rewards, My resolution is to earn enough gems for a Veteran .
-
My settlers new years resolutions are for the women settlers to get more active outside their noble residences!! In 2013 you might see them walking around the island!
Maybe not, you never know.
-
We are the S.F.A.B.T. ( Settlers For A Better Tomorrow ) and we will build and we will harvest and we will fish and we will mine until our Island is the greatest island of all the island's in this world !. Our New Years goal is to work harder and faster - but still to maintain our Quality. - If you can find another organization that promotes the well being of our settler community then join it - but I think, tho you search near and far, deep and wide, that none, I say again, NONE... shall you find..
-
This year, I plan to get to level 50 and have completed all the adventures to date.
-
Bob looked around the residence and noticed there was not a decorative pillow or even a thriving plant in sight. So Bob left his home determined spruce up home a bit, when he noticed Bill,Joe and Fred heading his way. Bob told them about his plans to make things better, when it suddenly hit him. This place needs a WOMAN'S touch!!! So Bob resolved to talk the Mayor into letting women back into the village!!! Surely the presence of a woman walking the streets and decorating the village would do wonders!!!
-
Play as many NORDS as possible. Also keep looking under castles to see if any Females are hiding among the over weight settlers.
Last but not least I'd like to reach level 50.
-
There is unrest amongst my military, whispers of a cruel heartless ruler who amasses his peasantry and provides them with the utter basics of training only to send them out on adventures to their deaths in the hundreds. Elite soldiers are becoming disgruntled at the lack of recruits coming through the ranks, some of the longbow men are getting sick of hearing the same jokes from their fellow colleagues and express a need for new blood!
The council confirmed these rumors, the king has to make a stand and change his ways for the better! No longer will I overload my armies with recruits! A time for a new production line is in place! My peasants can look forward to a more advanced and sophisticated army, new training facilities will be put in place for more longbowman, soldiers and when the time calls for it... Elite soldiers!
The time of massing recruits has come to an end! *heads off into the distance to oversee the construction of the multiple steel smelters and weaponsmiths he gave orders to build*
-
Get enough Easter eggs to hire a Veteran General.
-
I have two
1 in game to help other players finish there quest asap
2 help my family and kids when they need it instead of saying im busy
-
One of my recruits, named I. M. Poorlytrained, resolves to not get caught on any more of those nasty caltrops. He seems to get caught on one every time I do IotP.
-
My goal is to get lvl 50 without veteran general. I just got level 49 today, so I should be able to accomplish this goal!
-
Resolution... Make every building building lvl 5 this year!!
-
My Generals new year resolution is to have more life then just 1hp,Bowmen, Longbowmen, crossbowmen to have flaming arrows that explode on contact, all my Soldiers to have better armor so they can live longer, Cavalry to have armor for their horses, and Cannoneers to have better target practice. And the Mayor to build a library so that all the kids can read and learn the history of their island and to have scientists to create chemicals and minerals for new technology to make better weapons. :)
-
I resolve to be more effeceint with my training practices and not require 10 swords/bows for each new troop.....don't get me started with the 40 horses....
-
Beginning January 1st I vow to bring Peace on Earth around me as best as I can.
-
My New Year's Resolution
This year I promise NOT to buff my workyards with fish food or musk deer fragrance...I will feed them a balanced diet with Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets!
-
My Settlers have proclaimed the following New Year’s Resolutions;
To balance all the production lines of the island.
To build and train the strongest Army possible to protect and defend,
To clear the home island of unwanted pests, bandits, and their leaders,
To complete as many Adventures as possible,
And my New Year’s Resolution is to help my settlers meet their resolutions!
-
in 2013, I will make my settlers walk faster! And run more adventures.
-
More Wheat
The settlers on my island have all resolved to find a way to get more wheat from those medium wheat fields.

The following letter was recently passed to me from a group calling itself "The Settlers". The letter is a list of formalized intentions, actions to carry out, in the coming year.
While the numbers involved in the group are not known, they appear to represent many, if not all, of the various mercantile groups present on "The Island".
My only desire if for harmonious relations to continue in our land, but since I lack the authority to instate the changes listed, I entreat your aid and assistance
The letter reads as follows...
"While we recognize your just leadership of the people and various mercantile endeavors, we believe now is the time to bring about the following changes for the coming year:
Slower wood chopping production rates so that we have the time to use our hand to flip wood and not kick it. We are experiencing record numbers of worker related injuries due to this method.
More thoughtful use of recruits in our ongoing battles with bandit camps. Records show high mortality rates among their numbers simply so that other “more important” troops are saved from any contact with the enemy. We cannot expect recruitment rates to be maintained at the current 1 brew rate with the current losses.
Ability to put into production all the iron resources in sector 5 as well as the marble resources in sector 1. Increased use of unpaid overtime is currently being used to maintain production levels. What was once seen as the rare event with use of unpaid overtime is now taken as expected and understood without verbalization.
We desire a system of roads allowing for direct travel from resource to store house. As it stands now, we must traverse the land in the most direct route available. We must often go through dense forests and boggy fields, while also having to cross over the geological formations paving the way.
While this is not all of our desired changes in the new year, we are resolute in seeing the above issues addressed.
The Settlers”
As is plainly read, I lack the ability to carry out their demands and greatly wish your assistance in the matter.
Your most humble servant,
Farfel

My new year resolution, is to train my Archer to attack first, to save my fellows settlers.
-
My settlers resolve to vary their diets more away from bread, sausage, beer, and fish.
-
My resolution is to level 40 this year and improve my economy .
-
My resolution is to get a real job.
-
It was a dark and stormy night.
The settlers had received some very nice gifts, they even saw Santa, or so some declared.
But then….
As the new year approached, they knew it was time for some changes,
As the wind blew and the snow poured down, they decided…..
This next year ends with the lucky 13, so why not? 13 new adventures!! That’s what they need!!! How better to recruit the young soldiers, willing to risk their lives, for a taste of destiny!!
And also, they hoped and prayed, that the overlords would back off a bit. Some of the overlords have been newly appointed by the king, they take their assignments seriously, as they should. But sometimes they miss the forest for the trees. The community gathers to pray that the overlords will come to understand their roles, and provide assistance rather than punishments to the lowly settlers who have been entrusted to their care.
(((Hi bbSpammie ;0)))
The snowfall slows….the deer begin to return….the wheat fields turn green with the hint of spring to come…..the settlers know this will be a great year.;)

OMY!! As a settler, my resolution is; to think some thing up for me to ride on to and from work. This way I would gave more enery to work. Or at the very least I need to invent better lools to work with.
-
As the appointed oligarch of the island, my duties include deciding the placement of buildings, the usage of resources, and commanding my forces in military campaigns, be they at home or abroad. Despite my position as head of this autocracy, I leave many matters of governance, such as education and food distribution, to the proletariats. I bring this up because it has come to my attention that my subjects have passed a resolution (pun intended) to drastically reduce obesity in the coming year. I am not privy to the details at the moment, but I am aware of the varying reasons for such legislation.
To start with, and this is an important matter that has been affecting morale among the plebeian ranks, there is a total dearth of women on the island. Well, there is Wild Mary, but everyone knows she's a loony old animal hoarder. Not many of the people seem interested in a haggard old ogre, hardly befitting the term lady, who lives with nearly 200 mangy dogs. Plus there is the problems with life-expectancy and production that accompany a population with a near inclusive obesity rate. At this point the only man outside of the military without a gut hanging to his knees is the tall builder guy with the kinky outfit.
I'll be interested to see how the commoners handle their resolution, and I will follow this matter closely. Will they perhaps reduce their intake of brew and bread? Who knows. At this point it can only be a win-win for the health and coffers of the island.
-
To reach Lvl 50 and to start to do a lot of team quest. Also find a nice guild
-
My resolution is to invent flying so it doesn't take so long to transport goods or to get to islands. Also, socks would be nice. Boy are my feet woren out from all the walking!
-
My resolution: To play this game more from now on and enjoy lots of adventures :). Enjoy.
-
My New Year's Resolution:
To be a more helpful compassionate and blessing-full player, cheesy as it may sound :)
-
my resolution for my settler would be that, they could get more proficient in doing what they do more often...like if they make more bread than the other stuff, they get better at it or they can learn to become better in doing somethings than the other...
Also it would be so cool if they could make a ship, even if they couldn't use it to travel & it was just for decoration...
My settlers are really bored of doing the same adventures over & over again, what if there was a new adventure that they could could get & do that month with special reward which closed when the month ended ? they wouldn't be so bored...because they had something new to do each month ...
my settler wish there were new monsters to fight ... & new resources to get....new buffs to make & maybe a way to remove the buffs ...my settler also wish they had a bigger island so that they had enough space to grow & build new buildings...
-
My resolution is to hire a private investigator to determine how exactly the geologists are able to find ore under the ground in the same place repeatedly. I think it's a conspiracy with the miners. There's actually a massive cache down there, but the miners say the vein has been used up to keep the geologists employed!
-
Reach lvl 50 of course ; ).
-
I pledge to take better care of my minions and not let my recruits be slaughtered for small rewards - but only when necessary to serve their fellow settlers.
