I believe its time to revisit the subject of giving players the ability to add and remove trees. By this time all long term players are cramped for space. There are many places on the island where the removal of one or two trees would give space for an additional building or two. It makes no sense to me as to why this ability is not being thought of as a player option.

Sorry, it makes more sense to me than floating buildings and is more in tune with a developing settlement. The first hing you do when you obtain land is to remove trees and brush that is growing where you want to build.

I agree. This should be a realist goal of settlers.
