Please fix the mute setting cookie!

Dear Devs:

Every time there is a major rollout, the cookie (or whatever mechanism that is used) that remembers the settings for sound and music, gets broken.
Then, a few days later, you guys get hip to it and fix it. Could you guys fix this? It is very annoying and has been going on for a long time. A simple unit test could make this recurring issue go away.

This isnt a big deal, but a good basic bug to fix, it shouldn't take the devs too much time to do.

Exactly my point! But it has been going on for well over a year!

well, its not that big of a deal, after a patch is introduced, change the settings back, its literally a 5 second thing. Your case is flawless except that it is a minute issue.
