Four Winds

Wanted you to know that to require us to complete an adventure the Bandit's Nest which we can not find but only buy for map frags is not in line with other level's Four Winds Quest. This is because you must get granite when you do the adventure and if you don't get the granite (many doing it six or more times without granite) you have to rebuy the adventure not find it. Map frags are now impossible to buy and Bandit's nest is selling for over 2000 coins in the TO so you can't keep trying to get the granite without the resources to get the adventure. To my mind this constitues a bug in the system. The adventure that you need to get granite from is not one that can be found like other levels have. Not getting granite (33 percent chance) after doing Bandit's Nest six times is a glitch or bug.

Okay, Then explain to me why I got the Granite on the First Try?

You can get Bandit's Nest on a adventure search, I got my first one that way. And you're right, it is bugged, I know of folks in my guild that have done it more than 7 times with no granite.

Maybe you just got lucky Roman God Camper, and thank you Lady Terra cause they told me in help I could only get it through map fragments not from my explorers. My explorers are still out hunting for adventures every time I send them out.

Keep in mind that random/chance is well exactly that there is a chance if you flip a coin enough times that you'll wind up with heads 7 times in a row - heck you can even end up with it 100 times in a row but if it's still out of 200 they can call it 50%...

The point is that each try is really INDEPENDENT from the previous one. Each time you do a Bandit's nest you're going to have a 33% chance of getting the granite. I'm about to start number 3 of my bandits nest so I know it's frustrating but it's kind of a game of chance with any adventure.

On my 5th surprise attack, still no granite! Very FRUSTRATING

And just finished, 4 Titanium Ore in a row...still no granite. I want granite :(

It's called LUCK. You got into the 33.3% pool. While the others have been consistently getting 66.3% of the bad luck pool.

66.6%/66.7% otherwise I want to know where that spare 0.3-0.4% is off gallivanting...;)

It doesn't matter if its called "LUCK"... Its a 33.3% Chance... Luck has nothing to do with it. You have a chance on getting it and you have a 66.3% chance of not getting it. It's the same thing for Gambling. You take the risk into your own hands and if you don't get it. You don't get it no need to complain about it really. There is probably people that got everything on the first try and people that had to do it 20 Times.

It's like rolling a dice. If you get a 1 You get Granite, If you Roll a 6 you get Exotic wood Logs.

Same with other Adventures. Roll 1: Granite. Roll 2: Granite. Roll 3: Exotic wood Logs. Roll 4: Exotic Wood Logs. Roll 5: Titanium Ore. Roll 6: Titanium Ore.

So its just random Chances. Random throwing the dice. No one will know what it will land on.

Hey guys, I had a strange problem in completing this quest. For me the challenge is to collect 150 stones by short Treasure hunt. My explorer searched two set of stones in 25-25 quantity each in one search. However in quest it got added 25 stones only. And it has happened twice. I am still behind by 50 stones. So Every time searched 50 stones got added in my Star menu however in quest result only 25 stones added.

This quest chain wouldn't have been so bad if the goal was to complete each adven instead of having a specific need rewarded from completing it. I cleaned out every map frag I had, ran my explorers ragged and still haven't got ANY granite from loot. completing X number of advens in Y time frame would be a challenge for most players who aren't on 24/7. Requiring specific loot drops from those advens in order to move on to the next is BAD EVENT DESIGN. Hanging completion on RNG is not fair to the average player. I'm only lvl 33, I do not buy gems that I can then pure into resources. I do not play 24/7 as I have a job and life outside this comp. Does that mean I do not deserve to complete events?

Over 10 Bandit Nest and still no granite. The time constrain is unreasonable. A few of us are getting bit by mathmatical improbability. Even if I manage another run tonight is it even possible to finish Four Winds at this point?

Argh!

You will need to complete Outlaws without losing anymore then 500 Recruits and To Find Granite on Old Friends.

Had the same thing happen. on the quest Sunny Day. I sent a ticket, but I had a similar issue with finding 100x2 stone with 1 explorer and 25x2 with another, for a total of 250 stone. However the quest only counted half of that so I'm at 125/150 total. Copy Pasted from another post I replied to. Going to be disappointed if I miss out on all the rewards for competition.
