Four Winds is a terrible quest chain

I have to say this quest chain is the worst quest chain ever. The reward is not worth the trade off. And the requirement for completing it is too Random LUCK dependant.

The low level version of this quest chain is probably the easiest. Which really makes high level players just want to reroll and make a new account for the rewards. In fact all of the new quests favors new players and not the vetern players who have been supporting this game for years.

Creating a new island on a different server from scratch gives you more for new players. Things like medkits. and vanity items. Buffs etc.

The Four Winds is the easiest to complete for a low level player.

For the high level players, we are stuck with finding granite which can be anywhere between 33% chance to 50% chance.

Then requiring you to produce 5000 longbows and 500 longbowmens? 500 of them?? wtf is that about?

The quest chain must be extended some more. Or chain the requirements. This is just a retarded quest chain and I dont know how you guys did not test this out on the test server. You should jack up the reward to 1000 gems.

Seriously, this event quest chain was clearly designed with the intent that most high level players will never complete it. For me and several of my fellow guildies we're faced with running Bandit Nest, which is all but impossible to even acquire now and the prices are outrageous if you even can find it, not to mention I'm hearing it's a real bear of an adventure, and on top of that you have to get lucky enough to get Granite as a reward for completing the Adventure or it doesn't count and you wind up having to run it again, and again, and again, until you finally get lucky enough to get Granite, or, as is more likely, the event expires. Total fail quest line.

I have been liking it so far. I am almost done with the 8th one and I am ready for the 9th and 10th. Should be done soon and I have several guildies that have already completed it. It did help that I already had all the expert buildings that I needed built.

I've run Bandit's nest twice now and no Granite. I'm not going to beat my head against that wall anymore.

I have done 3 times Surprise attack and **** it, it is completely insance... still no granite.

I am sure that there is an issue with the loot engine as I often win more exotic woods that granite !

Im all for this Quest Line. A great idea overall from BlueByte. Something different than running the same old Adventures reapeatedly and finally some decent Rewards.

That being said I couldnt agree more with the opening post. The "Receive Granite from X Adventure" is B.S. I have now personally run Surprise Attack 5 times and been the L.S. on 2 others....NO GRANITE EVER!! What gives B.B.?? Did you guys screw with the Loot Drop percentages before starting this Quest Line or something?? I know what you all are thinking: Its total luck....completely random. O.K. fine...but 7 !!!! times and 0 Granite?!?!?!? Really???

The Luck Factor in this game is just completely awful. AWFUL.

Specifically the granite. And looking ahead at the "old friends" quest requirement. That's even worst. Not only do I have to farm witch of the swamp a few times to get "old friends" as a drop. I also have to do OLD friends to get granite. That's luck on top of luck on top of luck.

Seriously? Who ever came up with design is retarded and can't do math. Either remove the luck factor of the granite or have the engine know that you failed the luck factor the first time to give you granite the second time. Doing a questline 5 times in a row to not get granite or old friends is just retarded.

Just thought Id drop by and mention that Im STILL without Granite from Surprise Attack after 3 more runs and 3 LS's. Come on BB!! WTF !!

Join the club. Still stuck at Bandits Nest!! Getting really upset now.

I know what everybody is talking about. Still trying to do Pirates' Island for granite. And I'm not even in the highest tier, which, from what I've heard so far, is a lot more difficult.
