Well, i don't care. for me PvP is just a promise broken. Guilds is where i am at right now. Players connect to each other by Guilds, so thats the weakest link to me.

It's been a while now since I reached Level 50. This game has become boring. I want something new!! I Hope this BLUEBYTE delivers what they made us to expect and believe... Give us new events and PVP. Not just the usual event that happens per cycle.. <---- BORING!!

Yeah that DEV video was epic.......so much info I could barley handle all of it. What is so tough about an honest simple answer? Yes we ARE getting PVP as promised with an estimated date included or better yet a true date. Or No we will not be getting PVP (The END). Please no more of this B.S. of telling us what we want to hear and think everyone will keep handing over their money.. It might fool some of the people sometimes but it won't fool me again. Im happy with the game and I think we have had BB here answering the questions they could. They know the majority here want PVP, I am sure they aren't ignoring that point. The want us to buy gems and PVP could be a gem mine to give an army an advantage against another one. I promise PVP will come because it will be profitable.
Let me see if I'm getting your post correct, Ted. Blue Byte has diluted the development staff effort on Settlers in order to put forth an image of being a prolific leader in the Free-2-Play market. AND, PvP is "sitting on the table", which means there is no current development activity in this area; nor is there any plan to dedicate any meaningful amount of human resources to the task. If this is truly the case, perhaps Blue Byte should consider spinning off the game to a knowledgeable software publisher who can rustle up some venture capital and, then, properly rework the product.Quote:

As a player approaching the higher levels of this game, I would like to/need to see the game improve and evolve as promised multiple times by the developers.
well, BB don't do like they promise. They just promise and then promise again. What is the point? I reach max level and i few a bit boring already.
Some sort of timeline, and some pvp functionality in the test server, would really ease everyone's minds. would you pass that along, BB_DXTed?

Im sure the dev diary with be the same thing they always send our way, pvp will be here at this date blah blah blah but never any real news. For BB and UBI being such large company's you would figure they could complete some new additions in all the years they have been promising us.Quote:

Outside of the North American Servers (Zeus and Aries), all other servers still say "Beta". BB/Ubi removed "Beta" from ours early last year after a ton of players balked at errors in a game so many were spend-spend-spending on. It's clear the game is still in Beta given there is a test server we are encouraged to use / stress for them. So ya your post is relevant to me, it's a concern. I'd be sad if BB/Ubi trashed our server, it would be a big disappointment given the loyalty, dedication and quality element possessed by the players here at Zeus. And I do mean that, there are a lot of good people playing here.

This game has a very long history (and i mean the desktop editions too) so it wouldn't be so nice to see people leave just because they get bored doing the same things over and over again, building farms, water, and mines. So it should be easy enough to just make some effort to bring a little more "spice" to the game by adding some PvP feature even if it is simple at the beginning.
