This is still an issue. Enough is enough...
Give us the ability to train more than 25 troop stacks...
Has no one heard of a mouse recorder? Makes multiple repetitious tasks quite easy.
Shouldn't need a macro program to overcome an obvious oversight in game functionality. At this point, it seems like this is on purpose and BB are just being jerks.
Do they get payed per click? Or is it some sick joke to see how absurd they can be and how much a person puts up with? This isn't a new content request, this is basic functionality for crying out loud.
And a mouse/macro program doesn't go back into my barracks and count how many troops are queued. Never had to unload 2k Rs/Bs cause you blew a set of elites on a failed block? Not trusting a macro not to accidentally click on the gem build that has no confirmation.
I truly believe it is intentional at this point. Tribal Wars had a better system at launch in 2003. I agree with Blamuut, losing elites on a block and having to reorganize 3k troops is atrocious. I just gave up adventuring all together after my last loss. It is not worth the arthritis in my hands to queue troops, it takes 400 separate clicks to queue 3k troops.
Gah! Yes PLEASE let us recruit more than 25 at a time!! Even if it was just 100 at a time that would be a HUGE improvement!! With the FairyTale Adventures having 3k losses easily, replacing them 25 at a time has actually led me to DECREASE the number of those Adventures that I run. I like them, but setting up the Barracks with 4k troops, 25 at a time, makes me want to skip them whenever possible. And that sucks because we have been asking for new Adventures for months and months, now when we finally get them I dont run them because of the hassle from the Barracks.....
Theory: games like this are all math for those who run them.
Get 1,000 people to play for 10 minutes, 100 will play for 30, 10 will play again tomorrow etc
Then comes the money... On average a player that spends X minutes per day will buy Y gems, therefore speeding up anything for no gems would be bad.
