sounds fun.. but.. Prices on stuff will sky rocket to much and world chaos will come to the market and everyone will blow up and recruits will rage on us!

To be honest there is nothing on the above 2013 Sport event list that deserves a special event on TSO..

TSO events are held worldwide on all servers right?

My suggestion will be a Soccer Event next year World Cup, Brazil 2014 :)

We all know what Dev team are working on for this year..

for instance if we suggest one from the above list, say cycling tour de france (as i have an official invitation for it :P), do u think Devs can make a special event, adventures etc.. in the next few weeks, cause we asked for it while 1.2 million players in german servers may not be interested on it at all? when we make suggestions for a major TSO event we should think of other servers as well.. therefore, a world wide famous tournament like FIFA World Cup 2014 will be nice :)

You guys are looking at it the wrong way.
BB don't care which event it is.

It's the summer event.

They are not going to skip a year.

All they have to do is change the graphics on the soccer adventures to reflect some new event.

The could just have a "Blowout Summer Extravaganza" and use beach balls, use the Easter adventures and simply change the graphics.

The events are not about the topic, they are about a new form of currency that can be used to get specialists and buildings from the gem shop.

The events drive gem sales and give free players a way to get gem shop items they would not ordinarily have.

There should be a new buff called "Chicken Wings" considering how fatty the settlers are walking around on the island... WABLE WABLE WABLE.... Lol

Well if this is the place to suggest summer events, this is my suggestion:
Summer is for vacation.
Vacation is for visiting places belonging to other people, and for buying things there.
So have players who want to participate tell BB they want in. They then pick three of their buildings for whatever summer souvenirs BB will use for summer currency. If a designated building is later removed, BB will default to one during the event to replace it.

Visitors choose which country they want to visit during each stage of the summer event.
They are then given a choice of regions in that country.
From that region they are randomly sent to one of the participating players’ maps.
They then find those three designated buildings to obtain the souvenir currency.
They then can leave a message for the host map’s owner that they visited, which shows their home town and nation.

For additional fun, a participating player can designate four of his people (say a baker, fisherman, well worker, and butcher) to walk up to a visitor and say something to him as he is going through his map. Nothing vulgar allowed.
That would be fun since it could spark comments from visitors when they leave.

One downside would be if someone does all the above, and no one visits him after all that work to participate. One summer event’s stage should have BB send an automated visitor to each participating player. That way each participant gets at least one visit.

Anyway, that is my suggestion for summer event.
Hopefully this is where I was supposed to place this.
