Dev's Diary: Science System 5/9/2013

I'd be willing to bet that they use the pinewood logs for the lower end paper and exotic wood logs for the best paper - the other stuff will probably require bronze, iron, and titanium to make the lettering systems...

This is cool hopefully they will add some more levels for this too even a few (52) or legacy/elite/etc sub levels after 50, would like to see more effort with Guilds right after this so there can be some PvP cuz this game is in dire need of some more complex fighting ....

Umm...I have 13 Geologists...with the way I see this new Science System, it will take at least a year to manually cap out a single Geologist...(or you can cheat and buy gems *did ya see the lil gem icon next to scripts/tomes/codexs in the picture above?*
Not to mention Geologists will not be the only thing we will be spending these new items on...Explorers, Military, and Economy...

Before ya'll get all outta control like I know you can - just remember if you want all 13 of your geologist's to have 31 skill points each...i'll see ya in 13 years...unless of course you spend $1000-$2000 on gems and buy the items(you know who you are), then i'll see ya in-game in june!

It's showing that it can be built up another level too. So either it's a mock up, or we are going to be able to build beyond level 5.

These are regular buildings in the building menu and use building licences.
They are not available for gems in the store.

That is correct. ^^ except, it uses the ore of copper, iron and titanium
Science is live on the test server now.

Interesting.

I really like this idea and since I have five geo's currently I know I will be specializing in more than one area. It will also be an incentive to get more geo's to use in the game. Now if you would just give us a way to get granite we would be much happier campers!

I hope they DO NOT give out more BL or make more available ...

Its part of the game and for some of us we accept the challenge and move forward.

I hope they make the school more useful with this science system
