Why is there no volume control?

Even the simplest of flash games have volume adjusters. Is there a good reason why one still hasn't been implemented yet?

There are so many times when I want to hear sounds that happen in the game but don't want to hear an absolutely blaring sound effect go off when the event happens. Many of us listen to music and movies at the same time and don't need to hear "HEE HAW, WALLA JA BEE BA" at volume level 11. We just want to know it happened. Volume level.. 3?

Can you please spend 5-10 minutes and put a volume control in a game that grosses you hundreds of thousands of dollars a month?

just mute it like everyone else has and play your music????

I do believe it's "Okay. walla jabeela", which translates to "All hail Mayor EpsilonSilver"!

But seriously, yeah, volume control would be nice.

It's helpful to hear some notifications when I am off doing other things.

I need the sounds to know if I get intercepted.
Or to know when my adventurers come back.
Or to know when my miners find a mine.
Or to know when is the exact time to send a multi-block.
Or about 10 other things.

So nahhh, volume control would be better.
