Name Your Geologist

George Geoston
George was working for Spacely Spare Sprokets, wooden, bronze, iron and steel ones, when his wife, Jane, overdrew their bank account and had spent all their extra cash. George decided that to help pay for his daughter's (Judy) college and his son's (Elroy) gaming habits; who kept buying gems, that he would go looking for the Mother lode. Since George's primary work requirement was to push a button once or twice a day he figured he would have a LOTS of free time and could pay the bills quickly. DOH. Because of the low physical requirement of George's job he takes twice as long as the other rock hounds and sometime even misses dinner, as prepared by their indentured servant, Rosey, not to be confused with the riveter of the same name. Unfortunately George would quite often get lost in the clouds until some other explorer would search and clear the clouds away and George could keep looking for the materials for Spacely's Spare Sprokets. To date George is still broke as Jane takes most all his cash to spend on who know what.

Ever since he was 8 he wanted to be a geologist so he started looking for stone and soon advanced into copper then marble and so on until he got employed as a full time geologist and that is where he is now.

Gold Digger

Obsessed with the power of gold, Gold Digger is willing to do whatever to find the most and purest gold. He grew up in a noble home, and became in love with gold at a very young age. He is in search of ways of finding the most efficient way to find gold, and lots of it. He is also very greedy and will stop anyone that comes near his gold.

Dr. Zeus is an esteemed geologist recognized for his ability to evaluate different environments and locate valuable deposits in unusual locations. Some suspect his enchanted divination rods the source of his uncanny success. It is believed he found the enchanted rods in a faraway realm with mythical gods.

No one knows how Pauly Patrick lost his eye while spelunking, if one was to ask him he get a far away look in his remaining eye and go silent for days. Fortunately he was able to get fitted for a glass eye but unfortunately after seeing his injury, his fiancée ran off with his arch nemesis, Hugo the Explorer. Devastated and slightly eccentric, he spends his life trying to find gold mines, thinking to win back his lost love.

Patty Patrick is Pauly Patrick’s older sister, people have always said that they look alike but she doesn’t see it. After her brother’s decent to madness she took it upon herself to look after him, joining the profession for the sole reason of keeping an eye on her baby brother.

Richard Starsky never intended to become a geologist, he merely stumbled upon the profession, whilst on a walk he picked up two sticks and started drumming them against the rocks as he passed, after a particularly energetic beat a large gem broke out of a rock. The sight of the beautiful blue gem entranced him, putting him under a love spell, a love for rocks and gems. His fellow geologist can always tell which mine Richard is working in because of the rhythmic sound of his pick axe hitting the mountain’s wall deep in the mine.

I name my Jolly Geo is Richard Parker. It was a Bengal's name in a story that i have read, 'Life of Pi'. In the story, Parker and his friend - a boy, main character, Pi-cine - were lost on the ocean because their ship was sunk. But they still survived after 1 month on the ocean. And this game is that ocean, i'm that boy, my Geo is Parker and the exhausted quarries or the exhausted mines are our challenging that i and Parker have to struggle together when we are playing TSO.

Once I get enough books to set up the proper skill tree, I'm going to name one of my Jolly's --> IRON MAN

I wish that the things that the geologists say when you send them to search or when they find or don't find something were all MP3 files in a directory and that you could change what they say.. It would be so great to use the "I AM IRON MAN" from the Black Sabbath song as the audio file to play when he finds a deposit!!

Quadruplets Penneante, Nicholadimming, Marbleinhead, and Goldbullion were born with a natural interest in what lay hidden beneath the hard crust of the earth. As children they were always playing in the dirt, and often discovered treasures in the soil. Penneante showed a talent in finding small treasures, Marbleinhead liked rocks of all kinds, Goldbullion was constantly finding valuable treasures such as gold and even gems, Nicholadimming found rocks interesting, but was far more interested in combining metals to create stronger ones. Together, this family of geologists helps their community to find the resources needed to have a strong economy and to protect themselves from brigands and thieves.
