My geologist scoures the land to find native and noble metal deposits to mine, igneous and calcium carbonate deposits to quarry.
I have name my two geo's Marco and Polo after the famous explorer Marco Polo yes he was a real person. My geo's have an amazing story of why they have started on their hunt to find out where their father(Marco Polo) is being held captive and to get revenge on the people who have torcher him. On this journey they have received jobs to be geo's to work for the kings and of rulers of many islands. Hoping to received funding and kings supplies and info that will help them along the way. The rulers don't know they are being used as a resource.They have robbed places, brought hookers, fought sickness and practice many differ techniques to break their father out of prison at peoples expense. stay Tuned to see what will happen when they found themselves hunted when they have befriend and trick all who have came in contact with.

Tim Burr grew up a big a burley lumberjack in the great northern Canadian territories. He spent his days with his large axe chopping and carving tree's and wrestling his pet polarbear. One day While working the forests he found a bear cave. Inside he found his first piece of gold. Tim Burr was so facinated by the shiny rock he decided to spend his days in search of other precious rock.
I'll certainly name one based on the most loving person in game who always tries to add me even though i bad mouth him, and even though i have him on ignore list. He'll be tasked to search for coal ore deposits because he might as well be wrongfully slave-laboring over digging the actual coal. Geologist name = Epsilon Silver
Frederick C. Finkle He was Chief Engineer or Consulting Engineer on eighteen major dams to impound water for domestic use, power and irrigation in California and other Western States. Without his guidance and leadership many of these places wouldn't have power or agriculture to support the dynamic population of California and neighboring states. 18 dams in a lifetime was very impressive during his lifetime and marvelous accomplishment of leadership, craft, skill and engineering.

That never happen, an so, as they grow up, they used these names, as Nike names through school, an that was how they got there names. Now every where they go everyone call them by these names. They don't remember what there real names are any more. Wonder what they might name there kids, if they had kids. LOL

Bob From Accounting
Bob used to balance the books for the Empire. Alas, there was a spending scandal involving the Minister of Natural Resources and some untendered contracts for coal shipments from overseas. It turns out the Minister had a cousin from the Nords that happened to have some nice recently discovered veins of Nordwegian coal. While the coal itself was of an acceptable quality for service to our economy, the bidding process (or lack thereof) was not in establishment with Article 42c of the Minerals Importing 'N Exporting (MINE) act. Part of Bob's job was to vet the contracts for natural resource procurement, and it was he that noticed the discrepancies during the contracts review process that only resource providers from the Nordian conglomerate Nordwegian Minerals had been considered for the deal. Bob immediately reported the issue to his superior in the department of Finance as required by law.
That afternoon, Bob was fired from his position in accounting and escorted from the Ministry of Finance. He was barred from ever again holding a position with the state. He was put on a no-sail list by the Department of Adventure Security. Apparently the Minister of Natural Resources has another cousin… who happens to be the Minister of Finance. Yeah, well, corruption is a bit of a problem in the Empire, given that there are no justice buildings available for construction. We’re working on it.
Rather than being dispirited by his new found career change, Bob embraced the change with verve. He started a new business of freelance prospecting (founded 27 levels ago!) and bribed a friend he knew for a position at Geologic Nordic Open Mining Excavations Incorporated (Ticker: GNOME, profits up 37% last quarter due to some recently acquired government contracts), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nordwegian Minerals. Bob wasn’t at all concerned that he had no qualifications whatsoever for his new position. After all, corruption is a bit of a problem, but we’re working on it.
Bob now earns a more comfortable living than his former life in the accounting offices of the Department of Finance. Ironically, his attention to detail that made him so especially suited to his contractual oversight duties before have benefited him immensely in his new role finding mineral veins. He gets to travel regularly which isn’t a problem even when you’re on the no-sail list if you know the right people, which most everyone does because.. well, you know - we’re working on it. He is paid better than what he was being paid as an accountant since the company he works for is so bent it makes his pick-ax look straight, and Bob’s track record for winning government mining contracts has put him in good with the right people. Oh, and all of it is tax free. Not for everyone else mind you, but some of it isn’t even reported as income by GNOME, and arrives under tables and in non-descript envelopes. As for the rest, it turns out Bob knows quite a bit about how to navigate the bureaucracy of the Finance department.

In a world where the all father tells you what to do (when he logs on), 4 geologists search for fortune and fame. Agricola, Anning,Von Abich, and Ambrose. They patiently await the masters call to find whatever he may wish. Agricola, who is quite Jolly, seems to beat the others to the riches every time. Anning and Von Abich are just getting started, but already Ambrose finds more copper than others! The great All Father feeds him manuscripts, and through his learning, he increases his skills daily.
I named all of my geos after famous geologists in History.
My geologist’s ~ Serg and Gio ~ cousins from the old country. Where they were so poor they couldn’t afford a whole name(so their families slit one~Sergio). Hoping to strike it rich someday, they came to the new land looking out for each other as well as searching for new resource deposits.
I named my geologist george after a long time friend. George is an interesting fellow being from the mainland and all, he was quite content working for King Ludro of Mapleton across the sea to the east round bout a thousand miles away I figure. Courtiers would bicker and Lords and Maids would do their daily familiarity if you know what I mean. Well George being a sensible type of fellow grew to despise the mundane of everyday life in the old country. He heard about a young man by the name of RodneyTah and remembered bumping into him once at a gala, he was all about this and that and some off hand adventure in the Isles to the west. So one day George packed his bags and walked out of that posh existence headed for who knows what, armed only with his pickaxe and his knowledge of rocks; And a lot of hope mind you , he was giving up quite alot to go off adventuring. But off to adventure he came too the little town where RodneyTah had set up a modest township.
His heart pounding he was ready for the challenge that lay ahead and Rodney no worse for the wear was happy to welcome George to his township. Since his arrival they have been constant companions at the dinner table drinking a tankard or two of some good ole ale and singing songs of their adventure.
I named my geologist after the greatest geologist who ever lived : Haroun Tazieff. I was the first geologist to visite a volcano lava lac.
Tazieff later served in French Prime Minister Laurent Fabius’ cabinet as secretary of state for the prevention of natural and technological disasters in 1984.

My Geo name is Geo. He used to be George, but then got stuck in a gorge, so they had to amputate his orge, and Geo was all that was left.
my geo name is Eratosthenes. I like his name, but he was a real geo.one of the first, he was born 276 bc , he lived for 84 years, (in those days that was unheard of) he coin the word geography, he determine the size of earth by using a well and the summer solstice, he was only 99 miles off from the actual size of the earth. When he lost his sight he killed himself by starving himself to death. That's a bad mofo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY favorite Geologist is Slammer Hammertine. Slammer is from the small village of Brisby and he, like his father and grandfather before him, was called to his work as a geologist and mine-finder. His mother knew he was destined to be a great geologist because of the small hammer shaped bith market on his hip when he was born. Slammer frequently visited with his grandfather who excited the boy with tales of lost mines, great veins of ore and lost mother lodes all just waiting to be uncovered. Even as a young boy, as soon as Slammer got out of school, he would be off wondering the hills looking for that next great vein. The town recognized his gift and hired him to be their new geologist at the age of 20 and he has been successful at his trade.

Roc Hopper: Roc is the son of Claude and Hippity Hopper and a graduate of the School of Hard Rocks. His slogan is " I never met a rock I didn't like". His hobbies include polishing and collecting stones. He carries a pick axe that he has named "Splitter".
I have Seven Geologist, so I named them after the seven dwarfs from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Bashful, Doc, Happy, and Dopey. :-) After all they were Miners.

My name is Rock Hound. During my adventures to distant lands searching for resources for my settlement I have encountered many strange and wonderful things. I have found beans that have magical properties. I have found a tower that enables people to spin gold from wheat. My experiences will bring many new adventures to my settlement as well as many badly needed resources. Only other explorers such as myself will be able to conquer these new and thrilling lands. I hope to see you all there.
Well to be completely honest, I decided to name all my generals, explorers, and geologists after my officers in my guild and after anyone that has worked hard in my guild. I wanted to pay them respect and homage since they have helped our guild run smoothly and grow as a family. My Generals are Mercurial, Captain_Chris, Ravenhawk315, and OneilCompton. My Explorers are Lepi and ILK45. They both love to run the TO, and they have done a great job at it. They have taught a lot of people in the guild how to use the TO very effectively. However, ILK had to quit the game because of RL issues which is a bummer. We will miss him. My geologists names are: Redikie, Ulyss, and Lyllian. They have all done a great job with their islands...and Lyllian has had some RL problems that she has completely passed through with flying colors. I respect all of these people dearly. And as I get more and more generals, explorers, and geologists...I will continue to name them after people in my guild. We are Survivors and we will always find a way to make it through.
Named Roland and Jake after characters in The Dark Tower Series. If you have read the books you will know that there are many other worlds running parallel and I like to think that Jake and Roland have been reunited in this, less dangerous version of the universe.

Me and my elite team of four in which are disguised as geologists from 1095 A.D. are traveling back in time to stop the crusades for happening. Because of the mass destruction World War 3 caused-which was fought by the Middle East and America-crew members were limited. I managed to recruit: Tom Cruise (Weapons specialist), Chuck Norris (Hand-to-hand combat extraordinaire), Vin Diesel (Vehicle tactician and extraction leader), and last but not least, Dwayne Johnson (Negotiator and leader of the group). We do not think we will accomplish are mission- We know we will! Apart, we are just settlers. Together, we are, "The Settlers"!
My name is Stones and I am a Geologist. My parents are Ruby and Quartz Throw. I have two siblings, my brother granite who is slightly dense and my sister copper. I have had many fights defending her honor because the boys would call her electrifying when they tried to steal a kiss. Don’t get me wrong, she isn’t trampy she just likes to kiss – ugh – boys.
I was born in the mines and never saw daylight until age 9 when my mom said that I would have a bright future as a geologist. I had no idea what a geologist was but I could find anything in the mines. Never got lost once!
I had this un-natural ability to find new veins at ease. When I was young and just barely able to talk I would point and cry at the wall until dad came. He thought I had lost my rock-a-fier so he would dig into the spot that I was pointing and low-and-behold if it wasn’t a new gold vein or something like that.
Today I work in the big city looking for new deposits. This new science has greatly helped me with my job. It has honed my ability and I am finding even bigger deposits. Sometimes with this mad science I can even find two deposits at once. Well my helmet is off in salute to these scientists. With my abilities enhanced by that new science thing I am making bigger money and I find myself getting married to my sweet heart Gem Away. She lives one mine over. When we tie the not next fall we will not be taking the traditional name swap, We will be Mr. and Mrs. Stones Through-Away.

Where's Goldo? is the name of my main guy. After spending many years as a childhood staple, he has sold out and gone for gold. He puts in his manual labour, walking around for two hours straight - but I think he's really only in it for the outcome. Often, I notice my gold mines are shy one or two pieces of ore. I believe his pockets may be heavier than when he set out on his search, though I try to look the other way when this happens as he really is a thorough worker. As a bonus, the guy works well with others and is excellent at blending in the background, which helps him avoid those pesky bandits. He rarely flaunts his former star status, though he does refuse to give up his old striped shirt and matching toque. He did however, get laser eye surgery and donated his now unnecessary glasses to Harry Potter.
Mayor's Log
Subject: Lucky
We found Lucky the day we arrived on this island. One of our wood cutters found him in a small shallow cave west of our camp. He was badly beaten and almost dead. When he was well enough we asked him a lot of questions like what was his name, where did he come from, how long he had been on the island, and were there any others. Lucky said he couldn't remember anything past when he woke up in our camp. Our doctor said he was lucky to be alive at all.
Lucky came to me one day and said he had something to show me. He took me west of our camp and showed me a stone deposit that was just right to use for building things. Later that day he came to me and told me he found four more stone deposits just west of our camp. All I could say was that sure was lucky, and we were lucky to have him around. I asked him if he remembered his name or not and he said "no". I asked him if we could call him Lucky, and he said that would be ok.
Lucky has become a valued member of our community, he has found stone, copper, marble, Iron, coal, and gold deposits. Lucky has taught a few settlers what to look for and where to look for these deposits. The name Lucky is sure fitting for him, and we are very lucky to have Lucky around.
My happiest Geologist is named Oreo. (The other is named Goldfinger since everything he touches turns to gold. But that's another story....) Oreo, on the other hand has to work hard for a living. He came from a lowly coal mining family in Virginia, and is often covered by the black dust of the mines. He has a joyful spirit and sings as he works to pay the bills: "We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig in our mines the whole day through. To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what we like to do......."
I have named one of mine "Rocky Hammerstone" I haven't decided the name of the other, but I'm leaning toward Flint Stoneseeker.
