The single most frustrating aspect of this game for me is....

The lack of visual distinction between similar objects at different levels.

I like the game overall, so much so that I have even shelled out some bucks for a gem mine. But the one thing that might keep me from playing over the long run is the sheer tedium of hovering my mouse over every well and mine multiple times a day to determine if it needs an upgrade.

It may seem like a small annoyance, but it is enough to potentially drive away a paying customer. Seems like such an easy fix to be able to tell at a glance what level all my buildings are running at....especially the ones that must be rebuilt every 1-2 days.

Have you tried the EO/ By clicking a bit you get a list of all of the buildings of a type with lvl and production.

Hi Wimpy! Thanks for the replies, folks, but I simply don't understand why we are not able to tell at a glance what level a building is. Not only would it reduce frustration, but it would make the cities less of a bore to look at. Just my 2 cents, and it looks like I'm the only one annoyed by it so I suppose I shall just have to suck it up :)

I don't know about you. but the numbers appearing on all the wells on the map does get annoying. especially if the entire island is filled with wells.

doing the list view from the economic overview panel is the easiest way and efficient way of finding the one that needs the upgrade.

its a number going through numbers on wells spread all over the map.
