I feel your pain really. I do. I'm losing faith in the developers. all the events/content so far is disappointing me.

I think the Settlers 2 House should be upgradeable. http://static.cdn.ubi.com/0034/archi...06_26_s2hq.png
Each level gives 20+ settlers. To stay true to the 20th anniversary theme.
So level 1 = 20 pop
Level 2 = +20 pop = 40
Level 3 = +20 pop = 60
Level 4 = +20 pop = 80
Level 5 = +20 pop = 100
This will make it very unique and rare.
Given that the building looks like a barracks footprint, it doesn't seem so bad. I will not sneer at a free 20 pop building, nor will most lower level players, I think.
I love events and similar efforts in all sorts of games. The variety of play focus alone is worth it. I would have hoped, and still do in fact, that free stuff of any kind, especially gems, even if the amount seems small to a higher level player (not to me!), would encourage everyone to help our servers reach the goals.
Folks need to realize that the event, and thus the rewards, are available for ALL players, not just the high levels, so the rewards need to be scaled so that everyone can get some benefit, without being overpowering for somebody who is still level 10 or so. It is a careful and difficult balancing act.
I just saw the video and it look like the building is a 3x3 size of a barrack. For 20 pops. Goodness! It's oversized and doesn't provide much of a benefit for high level players that are out of island space.
Sure it's great for lowbies as they have plenty of space.
But as It's been said many times before. These events always punish HIGH level players not reward them.
3x3 is going to be very hard to fit on an island if you don't find the right corner spots. otherwise you're going to end up losing 4 buildings worth of space.
I REALLY HOPE they can make the building upgrade-able (no graphics change needed). so that we can max it out to 100 pop.
By allowing for it to upgrade, it will at least benefit the high level players who have the granites to spend to upgrade it. While the lower players can be happy with just lvl 2 or 3.
I don't mind if it cost a lot to upgrade. But at least make it useful rather than pretty.
Three questions. Where do I find the codes? How do I know for sure which world I am in as there seems to be more than one with my flag. Why keep playing after level . It is all about adventures at that point?
1. You can find them all on the website, facebook, or twitter. so far 1 has been found on the front page of the site news page if u roll your mouse over the balloons graphic it reveals the code. somebody posted a thread on the forum for codes. look for it.

2. You are "US 1" Since you're on Zeus.
3. If you're level 26 or above then you get a second chain quest that does adventures. otherwise no its not about adventures. it's about playing the game and converting your resources for donations. go to the general discussion forum and you'll find help there.

Look for the balloon hunt answers.
The Dev diary says nothing about having to qualify to reach the second round, but the in game event description says if you don't qualify, you won't be moving on to round two. Can someone please clarify this discrepancy?
Dev diary makes it sound like every server gets to participate in the celebration. In game event description makes it sound like only some servers get to participate in the celebration. It would be a real shame to deny some servers the ability to participate in this celebration.
The in-game Event Ranking stats should be updated more often. Every 15-30 minutes would probably work (although faster would be nice), but not seeing any movement for hours is irritating and hardly worthy of an in-game stat-tracking feature.
I'm slightly concerned about everyone spending all their resources trying to hit 100% for phase 1 and then come phase 2 time, nothing will be left to turn into balloons. Particularly bad bc balloons from phase 1 don't count towards phase 2. I do hope BB takes all this into consideration with the numbers needed for phase 2 and modifies the event accordingly. I'm not raging about the event, I'm actually happy to have something to do and use the excess resources on. But just a concern i have about it.
Dear BB:
Thanks for the new adventures.
Loot sucks really, really, really, really bad -- but they're good fun.
