In addition to our initial contribution of 100,000 coins, we started to receive donations from other players and we are happy to announce that we will be able to increase the prizes (amount and/or number of prizes) for the raffle:

Greetings to all Zeus Settlers!

We hope we are having some good news for all the balloons donors! Lets spice it up and add some nice prizes and give everyone who makes a decent effort a chance to win something.

This contest is sponsored by Fuscus [Nude] and Huchy [RBLZ] and we plan to award approximately 100,000 gold coins to our winners.

In order to enter the contest, you will have to take a screenshot of your full screen making sure you capture your Player name and the “News” tab that shows in clear the number of balloons you have donated.

Rules:
a) donations have to be at least 10,000 balloons
b) in order to be considered, your total donations have to be at least 25,000 ballons
c) upload your screenshots to your website of choice (Google Docs, Photobucket, Dropbox...etc) and make sure you make it public, so we can verify it
c) post the link to your screenshot in this thread.

Me and Huchy will monitor your submissions, we will cumulate the number of balloons you donate and we will keep it public in a Google Spreadsheet, so everyone can verify it.

Once the event ends, we will finalize the totals and announce our first winners.


1) Top 3 Donors

30,000 gold coins will be distributed to top 3 donors in direct proportion with their donations.

Example:
Top 3 donations are A: 200,000, player B 125,000 and player C 110,000 - then formulas will be
(rounded the amounts to the closest ‘25)

A = 30,000 x 200,000 / (200,000 + 125,000 + 110,000) = 13800gc (13793)
B = 30,000 x 125,000 / (200,000 + 125,000 + 110,000) = 8625gc (8620)
C = 30,000 x 110,000 / (200,000 + 125,000 + 110,000) = 7600gc (7586)


2) Raffle including all players who donated at least 25,000 balloons

1st prize = 10,000 coins (one player - 10,000gc)
2nd prize = 6,000 coins (two prizes - 12,000gc)
3rd prize = 4,000 coins (three prizes - 12,000gc)
Mentions = 2,000 coins (15 mentions - 30,000gc)

Total = 64,000 coins

200% Bonus !!!
If we reach 200% , we will bump the raffle prizes with 50%

1st prize = 15,000 coins (one player - 15,000gc)
2nd prize = 9,000 coins (two prizes - 18,000gc)
3rd prize = 6,000 coins (three prizes - 18,000gc)
Mentions = 3,000 coins (15 mentions - 45,000gc)

Below is a sample... simply donate balloons not less than 10k balloons at a time and take a screen shot and post it in this thread.. u only need to donate a total of 25k balloons to be considered... U could be a winner!! :)

this is just going to get people to horde the ballons and not turn them in trying to be the "biggest donor" and shove our server group back to last place cause no one is turning in ballons.

they said at least 10k at a time, 25k minimum total, which sounds like you don't have to do it all at once.. People can still donate regularly, just take multiple screenshots.

Too late way too many people have like me donated over 350k balloons but we get nada cause we don't have proof

*edited my own post* Hard to get others to see more points of view that the one they are focused on.

That in itself makes people think hoarding till the last minute of the BD event.

We have until the 23rd..... plenty of time to amass the balloons. It is not too late.... and how can you complain if players are offering up gold coins to motivate the whole server to participate? You already donated 350K balloons with no incentive... now you have incentive to donate even more.

How is this going to get people to hoard balloons? Every time you donate balloons it adds to your total. What is the difference if you donate 50K a day or wait 5 days and donate 250K? Your total is still the same. There is no reason to hold onto them.

Isn't this more of a vanity contest? Lets face it, it was designed for a level 50 to win. Why else would it be based on a total waste of resources spent.

There are 2 sets of prizes. One for the biggest donor - total 30,000 coins. And another 96,000 coins - 21 prizes total ...you need to donate 25K balloons (in 20 days) to be considered for the raffle.

Awesome content, here is my submission for the raffle

Wonderful thing for you both to do Fuscus and Huchy. I hope to beable to enter, but, at the moment I am unable too due to needing to keep up on basket making. However, I did give my friend with a level 5 provo all my resources I stocked to convert. And he is keeping it under a bunny, so, I am contributing.. in my own way. :)

Used all my resources thus too late for me no way I can make enough to donate as many as others will be able too thus too late

I've got a question to the rules. Did I get it right, that if I donate 3x 25k I get 3 tickets for the raffle and if I donate 1x 75k I get 1 ticket for the raffle?

We calculate the total = in both cases you have a total for 75K, hence 3 tickets.

Every 25K gives you an entry in the final raffle. Over 20 days to make 25k balloons is not much to ask...but is up to you.

We didnt do Screenshots but ODDE is over 1 million donated mainly powered by 10 people.

Not asking for rewards but in 2 days Bobdgr8 is over 248K!!!
