I know I saw that myself this morning:(
All the big players are losing the will to make more balloons. Once they found out the whole contest is totally stacked against us most figure whats the point im not gonna waste my resources. *sigh*
Sure it sucks... But can we at least try to at hit 100%?
Note also that all of the German servers are over 100%. Fair and balanced indeed!!
if everybody put as much effort into making balloons as they do to whining about the event we might fair a little better
First off, it makes no sense for you guys to cry and whine about this. The contest was never fair in the first place to reach 200% before anybody else.
The 'fastest' and 'most' balloons will never be something we can earn.
BUT we can earn the 200% goal prizes. So stop crying about 'fair' part. We know its not fair. We already know its not fair from day one. From Phase 1.
The only thing to do is just get to 200%
I totally agree!! At this point, we can't be first, but for crying out loud, do you guys really want to be LAST???
If we end up last, it won't be because it wasn't fair, it will be because we just didn't try.
I've just donated my 1,000,000 th Balloon. How many of those complaining about it being unfair have done that? I"m only level 43 and I only started playing during the last Halloween event!!!
What does it matter? You get a building and some useless retro buffs.. Gems, you get that from the weekly bonus. I stopped giving balloons when it was clear they false advertised the "balanced approach" to this event.
You get gems from weekly bonus sure. BUT you get MORE gems if you get 200% for the server. That's 600gems ahead of a 6 weeks login.Quote:

Yes, i understand that it may not be fair.. We will never know unless we see the math behind it all.. How many balloons, what equation/ratio, how the servers are scaling, etc... The best we can do is just get to 200% We have a few weeks still... Can we just get there so we can all have free stuff??

I would actually like to help but I HAVE MISSING QUESTS! I can't get ballons that way because I'm stuck with nothing updating and I'm sure not going to burn thru all of my resources to make ballons. What is their problem - nothing in my quest book has update for nearly a week now.

BUT at least win the 200% - 600 gems reward. That has nothing to do with the people on the evenslist ranking window. It's a server only reward. What the other countries do does not impact us from getting to 200%
The only limiting factor is you sitting around being a cry baby and a stubborn one at that. Just donate. Get 200% for the server. get your free 600 gems. Login in everyday like you say you're going to do for your 100 gems then.
Otherwise, don't come to the forum and cry about it and demoralize everybody else.

to do this it takes millions of balloons not a few 100k even if we did know the real amount, that means it takes the largest players to drop everything and do nothing but make balloons. Why, I don't need 600 gems, or 2 houses that take up 8 spaces, this has nothing to do with server pride or anything else but BB wanting someone to buy gems. those of us who buy gems and have any sence at all are not going to do it
Actually. I do have a theory. That it's quite possible that we can become the most balloons donated winner the last minute it reaches 200%.
I noticed that the server does their 'events window updated' every 2 hrs?? Need confirmation.
What happens is there is a script that runs, and checks to see if you have completed the required donations and it checks off 100% and locks you out from donating more.
Have you noticed that some servers got 100% and others got only 99% but you couldn't donate more.
Well if we wait til we get near that 99% in the last 1-2 hrs we stock up as much balloons as possible and then donate it all at once. in a huge massive amount. This will get us the 'most balloons' donated winning achievement.
When people hit their 200% they are locked out because the script that runs.
Anyways. Just an idea for you guys to think about or speculate.
Otherwise how does one go about winning the 'most balloons donated if they stop letting you donate after 200% ?
(like they did in the phase 1 competition).
