I have thousands of balloons in my star that are now worthless. Ya'll could have at least allowed us to donate what we had started in the provisions house or the balloons we were to receive for the last quest chains. I don't want these in my warehouse for eternity.

Currently, every server has a requirement to get ?? number of balloons to get to 100%.
The problem with this is that some servers have a lot more active players than others, thus making it extremely difficult if not impossible for smaller servers to get to 100% in this event, or any future ones like it.
I suggest that the amount of (insert event item here) be scaled for every server, to give every server the same chance at getting to 100%.
For example, if server "A" has 50,000 active players and server "B" has 10,000 active players, than server "A" should have to turn in 5x the amount of said event item, than server "B" would have to turn in.
Having say, each server has to turn in 100 Million of said event item, to reach 100%, the servers that have a high population would obviously finish it quickly, and the ones with a lower population might not even get to 100% at all.

I totally agree that the Settlers 2 HQ building needs a bigger population size. 20 population is just awful.
And the building is not even trade-able.

I noticed that the Settlers2 HQ building is not on the list of tradeable items. The retro skin items are tradeable.
To help the 20th Anniversary event to be the best it can be. I really hope that you guys can make this building worth it to obtain.
I know probably those who have quit playing might come back after seeing that the building is a unique once in a life time thing to obtain. And that it's worth having on the island (if the population count were to increase).
My recommendation (REQUEST? PLEAD?)
Is to increase the Settlers HQ building to be at least 100 (pop.) or 120 (max pop).
Currently it takes up a barracks size which is almost 4 nobles worth. (which is about 280pop).
Since you guys made it only 20 pop, I'm guessing this is because you want it to be all "20th anniversary" themed.
So to go with the theme.
Maybe have it at level 1 - 20pop, but each level you go 20+, so at level 5 it is 100pop. (at least do this to make it worth it.)
120 pop would be better. To still be inline with the 20th anniversary theme.
or 220 pop.
Please consider asking the developers to improve the Settlers 2 HQ reward building to be more rewarding than just decoration that people will remove off their island later for space.
I do hope an adjustment is being considered. I haven't heard anything yet and when I tried asking a BB in G-1, he apparently "didn't see" my question.

For the 20th anni theme, you can go with 200 instead of 20. that's still 20 but x 10! :P

There is a lot of player apathy in at least the US servers. As I'm sure the BBs are well aware. Its kind of the american mind set of "what do I get out of it" and we rarely do anything large scale for the sake of it. I think increased rewards will really help various players from all levels and play styles feel like the event is worth actually doing.
We are losing players over this fiasco (sp)
i'm finding it hard to give a crap about this event. rewards are lame, so no incentive to manufacture/donate balloons...
Something needs to be done to make these multi-server events more competitive. Germany 1 is 40% farther along than US1 and US 2 combined. A 5-6 hour time difference can't be the only reason for this.

Although the math does work out favoring the Europeans. this time around with the x3.
But it doesn't matter. They complain when we get 100% sales and they only get 50% sales.

Put it this way. When they run 100% and we run 100% at the same time.
We benefit from the whole deal. Since USD is weaker than EURO they charge the Europeans as if USD=EURO.

Perhaps rewards (real ones, not the event ones) for individuals based on donations. For example, 2.5% of the server goal, 5% of the server goal, and 10% of the server goal. Maybe spread those solo Nords adventures to other servers, or multiple silos, watermills, regular nords, deerhunters, floating residences, or just plain gems. This would at least give a meaningful reward to indvidual players who are trying to achieve the event goal on every server.

Sorry but the event is not very fair. It started without any announcement on our server. And pairing on the countries do not match up.
The gap between the top servers and the bottom servers are just too much of a difference. The top server is reaching 90% at the moment while the bottom servers are reaching 25%.
That is more than triple !
we have no idea the amount needed to donate, there is no way for us to see what others are donating, seems to be just another sham by BB and I'll bet they will be talking about all the positive feed back later still don't get were they get that from most all events are disliked if you go by the feed back. I guess if one in 20 like it it is a success to them.
what is fair about BB bet there will be no sticky on this one, or reply by BB
IF any Management teams ... can get to the bottom of this and stop a Server Wide boycott or disaster...it will come ONCE Again from the USA Side...

I've spend endless months and months working to keep people playing the game becuz so many were leaving....

It is the same as end of world event, rigged so the german servers have all the advantages, we figured that going in, i am not surprised, but we are also getting a gem promotion, +50 gems, so i don;t know how much more the germans are getting. Only resources i am giving is water, which costs me very little and some excess coal which i would have had anyway. The people who are giving a lot of other stuff, they are being unfair to them. Bird's comment was, " why does Ubisoft want us to give all of our resources away?" He figures they have a reason for it being the trusting person he is. I figure we got a shot at making 150% if everyone keeps giving at the rate they are now, not gonna make 200% unless others also give. Seems funny that the top german sever doesn;t have someone dragging them down like some of the other servers do, Zues included.
